Definition

So, globalization is a complex process of world integration of countries, which includes the unification of the political, economic and cultural spheres. This is an omnidirectional development and spread of capitalism, a worldwide division of labor, a world migration of workers and cash resources. The process of globalization also includes the standardization of various technological and economic processes, as well as the convergence and fusion of individual cultures.

Historical reference

We will tell history about globalization. Small manifestations of globalization can be observed even in the era of Antiquity. The main actor who is the source of it, is the Roman Empire. Its dominance in the Mediterranean was reflected in the fact that many cultures were intertwined and supplemented by each other, a local division of labor occurred. Well this is just a little of its "likeness". In general, the origins of globalization date back to the 16th and 17th centuries. At this time in Europe, high economic growth was sustained, and navigation and various voyages were accompanied by new discoveries. The result was the widespread distribution of Spanish and Portuguese merchants who later occupied themselves with the colonization of America. The East India Company (the Dutch), which spread its networks to many Asian countries, became the first international company. After that, in the 19th century, due to timely industrialization, trade between European countries and their colonies increased significantly. Globalization was interrupted by two World Wars, after which it resumed with renewed vigor. In order to understand in more detail what globalization is, it is necessary to consider it in certain spheres of human activity.

Policy

The globalization of the modern world invariably covers such important spheres as politics and economics. Its influence on the political side of the state is expressed in the following way: weakening of national states, development and accession to world organizations (such as the UN, WTO, NATO and so on). Today, with the help of such world organizations, globalization is carried out.
