Vodka with milk - some tips and recipes

In the world there is a formula that affects the combination of its ingredients. Here, at a superficial glance, vodka with milk - completely incompatible products, the simultaneous use of which can entail even digestive problems. But in practice, everything is different. Vodka with milk is otherwise useful, and this is confirmed by medical statistics. There are also several excellent recipes for milkshakes with vodka, it is used to prepare folk remedies for cough and bronchitis. A vodka from sour milk - araka - is mentioned even in the ancient epic of the eastern nomads.

Wash with milk

It is erroneously assumed that vodka with milk causes indigestion: all diarrhea and poisoning. But in fact, negative consequences are manifested only in two versions:

  • With personal intolerance of the combination,
  • When you drink white milk with sour milk.

But drinking gorilka with fresh milk is possible, and in a sense it is even useful, because the load on the liver and other organs decreases. Milk binds harmful impurities, which are contained, for example, in home-brew, and these toxins do not go to the blood, but are directly discharged into the intestines. As a result: a person quickly becomes sober, and in the morning there is a better state of health than people who drink white juice, cola, lemonade. A hangover is not so sharp and quickly goes away. It's not for nothing that some manufacturers of the forty-degree drink practice additional cleaning of raw materials in such a way (a vivid example is the vodka "Measuring on milk").

Drink before drinking alcohol

And the craftsmen from the people advise to use a little milk inside just before drinking strong vodka drinks, so as to less get drunk. In their opinion, it envelops the wall of the stomach with a thin film, and ethyl can not so quickly absorb into the blood of a person (as a result - he drinks and does not get drunk). But the problem is that this express method works only partially, and even then with milk of higher fat content, which really has a sufficient degree of enveloping properties. To use for this purpose shop fat-free - an extra waste of time! It is better then to take the oil off before drinking - will be many times more effective.

Arak - recipe of vodka on milk

This is one of the beverages that have an ancient history. It is based on the method of distillation of sourcloth (ayran, kumys, kefir - those products in which not only fermented milk, but also alcoholic fermentation takes place ). Traditionally, milk in the kitchens of the peoples of the East (and the West, too) in a rare case is used fresh: without pasteurization in the absence of refrigerators, it quickly sours, and only children usually drink fresh milk. Basically, it was fermented in a suitable pottery - clay or wooden. After that the kisljak was processed by various methods depending on what products were to be obtained at the output: cheese or sour cream, butter or curdled milk, curd or sour milk beverage. From the latter, in further processing, alcohol was obtained.

Preparing Araki

To make a drink, from which the vodka was distilled, a special ferment was necessarily added to the sour milk. When the stirring of ayran (or another national drink), carbonic acid begins to emanate from it, producing characteristic noises, and the liquid will foam and rise slightly - the raw material is ready for distillation. To remove excess acid, ayran is strongly heated. And the very pasture is carried out in a distilling apparatus, which consists of a boiler, pipes and a cooler. After the first distillation, arak has a strength of only 8%. To achieve an increase in the degree of distilled repeatedly. As a result, araka - vodka on milk - can reach a strength of up to 30% or more! It should be noted that making milk is a time-consuming process. Of the dozen buckets of sour cream will come out only 1 bucket of vodka. Therefore, the real arak today is a rare, expensive product.

Cocktails

This charming combination is also used in cocktails. Vodka with milk is called "White Russian", where the ingredients are both components plus coffee. The recipe for this cocktail, by the way, is not from Russia. "White Russian" was named after the name of the White Guards, who fled to the West during and after the Civil War. Here they were christened white russians. In the manual for the American bartender, one version of the cocktail was published already in 1930. And thanks to the optimal fortress with pleasant milky notes, it becomes a hit of 80s discos in the West. Simplicity of preparation of a drink allows to make a cocktail "Vodka with milk" with own hand at home conditions.

Cocktail preparation

It is necessary to take 2 parts of vodka, 1 part of the liquor of coffee (in a more budgetary version is replaced by 2 tablespoons of soluble coffee, diluted in a small amount of water), 1 part of cream (replaced by fatty milk), ice cubed or chopped.

Fill the 160-ml glass with ice. We add liquor and milk with vodka, stir it with a spoon for cocktails. We serve with a straw. As an option - instead of milk you can use natural condensed milk.

Vodka, purified by milk

This method of cleaning home vodka (moonshine) is the oldest and relatively harmless. How to carry out the procedure at home? There are 2 options for cleaning - with and without distillation.

Take a glass of pasteurized milk of low fat content and mix it with a bucket of moonshine. Its fortress must be above 50 degrees, otherwise the squirrels do not fold. Immediately after the products are joined down, white flakes fall out. These are toxic impurities that enter our body along with unrefined alcohol. Now it remains to filter the resulting stratified liquid through the charcoal filter - and you can eat without risking a severe hangover in the morning.
