Barnaul Brewery. History of the company's development

Not everyone knows that the Barnaul Brewery is one of the largest enterprises in the Altai. More than a century has passed, and he still heads the brewing industry of the food industry of the region.

A bit of history

It all began in the late eighties of the nineteenth century. It was then that the brothers Vorsiny Fedor and Ivan built the first beer factory in the city of Barnaul . The drink was cooked according to old German technology and sold in their own drinking establishments. The glory of beer spread quickly, so by the beginning of the 19th century, it was known not only in Russia, but also abroad. Built in 1978, the Barnaul Brewery became a worthy successor to the traditions of famous countrymen.

During the construction of the enterprise, a long place was chosen. First, it was necessary to take into account the size of the future giant. Secondly, it was necessary to think in advance all the details about the raw materials. After all, for such a product, water is one of the most important constituents. Probably, that's why the Barnaul brewery was erected in the place where the quality of groundwater best suited the required parameters. As a result, an artesian well appeared on the territory of the enterprise, the water from which is directly supplied to the production shops. Its depth exceeds two hundred meters, which in itself gives a certain guarantee of purity. Now the Barnaul brewery is a large production unit. And in a couple of days the company will celebrate its 40th anniversary.

Production power

After privatization the enterprise was transformed into OJSC "Barnaul Brewery". Today, modern equipment is installed in production workshops, where about twenty-seven varieties of excellent beer and about 40 types of non-alcoholic products are prepared.

In recent years, the company's management has undergone serious modernization. In some shops, only morally and physically obsolete mechanisms were replaced, and in other renovations whole lines were exposed. So in 2008, a major reconstruction was carried out at the washing area and subsequent bottling of beer in kegs. In its place now operates a new line of German production. Also in the Czech Republic, equipment was purchased to fully mechanize the filling and capping of glass bottles with a crown-stopper.

As a result, the productivity of this site has significantly increased, which, naturally, affected the amount of profit received. The area of drying and washing bottles was not left without attention either. A new line from Holland increased its productivity, which allowed us to consider questions regarding the overall increase in production volumes.

Product range

Almost a century and a half ago beer from Altai was considered one of the best in Russia, it was recognized and appreciated even abroad. And today the beer of the Barnaul brewery can compete with any known world producer.

The enterprise produces beer of thirteen marks. Among them are such famous ones as "Vorsin", "Zhigulevskoe", "Medea", "Barnaul", Golfschteiner, "Czech" and Feier Beer. According to local statistics, the total output of the plant is about 60 percent of the Altai region beer and about 10 percent of beer in Siberia. These figures speak volumes. First of all, they confirm the quality of the products produced and the consumers' desire to buy it.

At the plant there are several lines where beer is bottled in containers of 0.5, 1.5 and 2.5 liters of glass and PET. Such a variety can satisfy the wishes of any buyer. In addition, the products are produced in kegs and mobile forfaits. Such ways of realization are now especially popular.
