Family - the largest moral value, the same for all people, regardless of their nationality, occupation, place of residence. The form of such an association may be different, but it was this collective that formed the direction of the development of society, its macrosocial systems.

The family, regardless of its type or species, is equally important for children and adults. For a child, this is a growing place, an environment that provides him with intellectual, physical, and moral development. Finally, this is a place that is safe for existence.

For an adult, it is a source of satisfaction, an object of care.

The family is a collective, therefore each member has its own requirements. The social status of the maturing family member is changing, therefore, the requirements also change. All families are classified according to certain criteria:

• type (nuclear family, complex, complete, incomplete);

• the number of children (small, medium, large).

In addition, family ties can be classified according to the form of marriage (monogamous / polygamous), sex of spouses (same-sex / bisexual), relation to parents (parental / reproductive), many other attributes.

To date, the most common in the world is a nuclear family, consisting of spouses with or without children. By their type, such families can be elementary, complex, complex.

Elementary includes one or two spouses (full / incomplete family). Compound is one in which there are several children.

A complex nuclear family represents several generations, can include grandmothers, aunts, nephews, and the like. To date, patriarchal families are less common.

If young people grew up in a family with few children, they were spoiled children-idols, then they are not able to create a healthy and happy marriage. Spouses begin to show authoritarianism, creating not a friendly and understanding collective, but an antagonistic society. If authoritarianism is superimposed by overstated social demands of at least one of the spouses, then this has an even more negative effect on the state of marriage, its strength. Poor preparedness for life within one's own family leads first to conflicts (including intimate relationships), then to divorce.

Modern nuclear families often suffer from social turmoil, from perfect unpreparedness to intimate life.

The increased number of divorces is a direct threat to the social well-being of society. That is why the nuclear family has become the reason for close study today. She is interested in psychologists, sociologists, ethnographers, sexologists, etc.

A number of social benefits relieve the elderly from family care, allowing them to survive on their own.

However, it is these characteristics that weaken family ties, contribute to a significant increase in psychological and physical loads, reduce fertility, make relations more emotional, more intense.

A strong nuclear family requires from the spouses more patience, the ability to listen to each other, tact and endurance.
