The metro station "Novokosino". Metro in the Novokosino district

The easternmost station of the Moscow metro is Novokosino. The metro, located in the same area, was opened in 2012. There is a station on the Kalinsk-Solntsevskaya branch and is the terminal one.

Building

In 2007, the Moscow government decided to extend the Kalininskaya line, that is, the construction of Novokosino. The metro was to open in 2010, but the terms were postponed several times.

Initially, the project of the station assumed the presence of parking entrances to two thousand parking spaces. The lack of parking is, as you know, one of the main problems of the capital. Residents of the Moscow region leave their cars in yards, where there are not so many places for apartment owners of nearby houses. Parking near the station "Novokosino" would solve similar problems in the east of the capital. It really built, but today it is designed for only five hundred cars. However, soon it is planned to expand.

Construction began in 2008. Perhaps, due to the economic crisis, the terms were postponed. The development of the excavation began only in the winter of 2010, but in the summer it was already ready. The platform area was erected from monolithic reinforced concrete. In the photo above you can see what the Novokosino station looks like. The metro was built according to the project of the architects of Metrogiprotrans. The reinforced concrete vaulted cover is the main feature of this pavilion.

Where is the Novokosino metro station located? On which streets are the exits?

Location:

This station is located between Nosovikhinskoe highway and Suzdal street. Near the South street. The name Nosovikhinsky highway comes from the village, which in the second half of the last century became part of Zheleznodorozhny. Previously, it was called the Vohonska road. The modern name of the highway received in the 80 years of the last century. Two exits from the metro station "Novokosino" lead to Suzdalskaya Street. It is named after the city that is part of the Golden Ring, Suzdal is located to the east of Moscow.

Shopping centers

As in most areas located on the outskirts of Moscow, there are few historical monuments, but many shops and public catering establishments. There are shopping centers "Trio", "Stroy-Magistral", "Novokosino". Metro is not far from each of them, because they are all located on Suzdal street. Especially popular among local residents is the three-storey shopping complex "Trio". There are many small and large shops, a pharmacy, a communication salon. On the third floor there is a fast food cafe. In the vicinity of the metro station "Novokosino" there is everything that is necessary for life: branches of the Savings Bank, private clinics, educational institutions.

Haydn Music School

This school is one of the oldest institutions related to the Department of Culture. The opening took place in 1945. Then in the name of this institution there was no name of the Austrian composer, and it included only two sections: string and piano. Until the 90s of the XX century the school was located in the building of the ancient temple. But a unique historical monument was handed over to the Orthodox Church, and a new building was built for the music school. There is an institution five minutes walk from the metro station.

Temple of All Saints

Monuments of medieval architecture are famous for Moscow. Metro "Novokosino" is located not far from one of them. In the area there are shops, schools and restaurants. But man does not live by bread alone. Church leadership a few years ago began work on the spiritual development of the inhabitants of this area. The church of All Saints was restored, and Sunday school was opened on its territory.

In addition, this building has become a decoration of the local landscape. The temple was erected in the 16th century, but it is a model of ancient Russian architecture, characteristic for an earlier period.
