While still a student of the Moscow VGIK, the young actress married. Her chosen one was Vitaly Yushkov - a man of the same profession. It was Vitaly who convinced Elena to quit the Institute of Cinematography and transfer to St. Petersburg. However, their marriage did not last long. Six years later the couple decided to part ways. In the late eighties, the talented actress again decided to bind herself by marriage. The new union, which she created with her second husband (also an actor), was again unsuccessful. In marriage, a married couple lived very little. Nevertheless, from the second husband Elena gave birth to Ivan's son. After the grand success of the film "Black Eyes" Safronova married a Frenchman. The next chosen one was actor Samuel Labart. He was a longtime admirer and admirer of Elena's talent. For his sake, Safronov leaves Russia and moves to Paris, leaving behind all that she had - a home, a career, relatives. In a new marriage, Elena's son is born. But this union was not destined to last long. In 1997, taking with him the eldest son of Ivan, she returned back to her homeland. The youngest, Alexander, stayed with his father in Paris. The fact that he is a child born in France, and under local law is obliged to live until the age of majority in this country. Nevertheless, the children of Elena Safonova periodically see. The actress and her son often fly to Paris to meet a younger child - Alexander. For herself, the actress decided that their divorce in no way should affect the attitude of her husband and children.
