The drug "Diver", analogues of the medication (such as "Tigrim" and others) are part of a group of diuretics. The mechanism of drug exposure is based on the reversible binding of the active ingredient to the Na + / 2Cl- / K + transporter. The active substance of the drug "Dyuver" is torasemide. A component in a lesser degree than furosemide provokes hypokalemia. Together with this, torasemide is characterized by greater activity and duration of exposure.

Tablets are recommended to be taken after meals once a day. On average, the therapeutic dosage per day is five milligrams. If necessary, under the supervision of a doctor, the amount of the drug "Diver" taken can be increased to twenty, and in special conditions up to forty milligrams per day.

The use of medication can provoke thrombocytopenia, a decrease in the level of erythrocytes, leukopenia, thromboembolism, thrombosis, lowering of blood pressure. As side effects when taking the drug "Diver" instruction refers to eating disorders, dyspeptic phenomena, dryness in the oral cavity, increased activity of liver enzymes, in rare cases - pancreatitis. There may also be a delay in urination (in patients with obstructive pathology of the urinary tract). Sometimes there is an increase in the level of creatinine and urea. Taking the "Diver" medication can cause headache, vision disorder, dizziness, drowsiness, weakness, paresthesia of the limbs, convulsions, deafness, tinnitus, confusion in the mind. Some patients may note the development of allergic reactions (itching, photosensitivity, rash).

Contraindicated means "Diver" adrenal insufficiency with progressive azotemia, hepatic coma and precomatosis, arrhythmia, arterial hypotension, pregnancy, anuria, hypersensitivity to sulfonamides and torasemide. Due to a lack of data on safety during lactation, the drug is not recommended during breastfeeding. The drug is contraindicated for children up to the age of eighteen.

With care, the medication is prescribed for latent or expressed diabetes mellitus, patients prone to gout, hyperuricemia.

Overdose can occur in the form of forced urination accompanied by hypovolemia, a violation in the electrolyte balance by the subsequent decline of blood pressure, collapse, confusion, drowsiness. Possible disorders in the digestive tract. A decrease in dosage or drug withdrawal is shown with simultaneous replenishment of electrolyte and fluid loss.

"Diver" (reviews of specialists testify to this) is allowed for use in patients with diabetes mellitus of the first or second type. However, in this case, constant monitoring of the doctor over the glucose level in the blood is necessary.

Interaction of the drug "Diver" with other drugs.

The active substance of the drug (torasemide) is able to enhance the sensitivity of the myocardium to glycosides.

An increase in the excretion of potassium can be noted with the simultaneous use of the "Diver" with laxatives, glucocorticoids.

Torasemide, especially in high dosages, can enhance the ototoxic and nephrotoxic properties of antibiotics from a number of aminoglycosides, neuro- and cardiotoxic effects in lithium preparations, and the toxicity of "cisplatin."

"Diower" remedy with complex use increases the effect of theophylline, coumarin derivatives (peripheral muscle relaxants).

Joint use of torasemide and antidiabetic (hypoglycemic) drugs contributes to a decrease in the effectiveness of the latter.
