And all thanks to a thoughtful advertising campaign. Positioning and promotion of the first generation of mustangs are considered the most successful in the world of automotive industry. Ford Mustang BOSS 302 is a restyling modification of the former Mustang. The figure 302 in the title denotes the volume of the engine. Translated into a more understandable language, "302" means that the engine's volume is 4.9 liters. Orientation is a modification for universal use with a shift in focus on racing races. The modification of the "Boss 302" is characterized by a reflash motor, which allowed to increase the power by almost 10% (440 hp from the "Boss" vs. 412 in the stock version of the GT-version). The engine works with a six-speed gearbox. Thanks to all this, the car "Ford Mustang Boss" is able to confidently keep the road at speeds up to 250 kilometers per hour. By the way, the Ford Mustang BOSS 302 is the first model in the series that is capable of developing lateral acceleration in excess of 1.0 g (not including the supercar SVT).

Perfectly understanding the importance of a good running gear and braking system, the manufacturers did not deprive them of attention. The brakes here are realized by four-piston calipers from "Brembo", 19-inch wheels are fitted in the firm rubber "Pirelli" of impressive dimension: the rear cloth here is 285x35, and the front one is 255x40.

The Ford Mustang BOSS 302 has rigid springs with adjustable shock absorbers. Thanks to them, the "Boss" below the Stock Mustang is 11 millimeters in front and 1 mm behind. In general, the suspension and braking system in the Ford Mustang BOSS 302 are executed at the level and quietly wait for their hour, hiding in the depths of the car.

For those who are few and this magnificence, the manufacturer produces an exclusive version - the Ford Mustang BOSS 302 Laguna Seca. Named after the legendary route, the modification is designed to satisfy the most insatiable racing appetites. Of course, it is more expensive, but for this extra fee you will put a couple of clever slicks, improved brakes, an improved front divider and a steep, hefty spoiler. In addition, the standard icon will be replaced with an exclusive "Laguna Seca" plaque, so that everyone knows who they are dealing with!

To summarize, I want to say that the new "Ford" came out very interesting, even without taking into account its history. This is an unexpectedly comfortable racing car with good dynamics. And what is most interesting, despite the fact that the engine at the "konyachki" almost 5 liters, it is environmentally friendly and economical - fuel consumption of only 14 liters in the city and 9 on the highway.
