Spazmalgon is produced in Bulgaria at the pharmaceutical enterprises of the well-known company Balkanpharma. It is a medicinal product that is part of the group of spasmoanalgesics.

The composition of Spazmalgon is complex. It includes active substances - bulgarketone, analgin, bulgaramid. Spazmalgon is produced in tablet form, where one tablet contains 0.5, 0.1 and 0.005 grams, and there are twenty pieces in the package.

There is another form of release, in ampoules of 2 ml, and in the package there are only 10 of them. It is a solution for injections containing active substances fenpiverinia bromide, pitofenona hydrochloride, metamizole sodium. This combination of active substances enhances the effect of each of the components of the drug.

As for the Spasmalgon solution , the instructions for use prescribe it to be administered intramuscularly to an adult two or three times during the day (depending on the purpose of two to five milliliters).

Spasmalgon has side effects. Among them - an allergic reaction (itching, skin rash) on the active ingredients in the drug. In rare cases, there is edema angioedurotic, hives, anaphylactic shock. There are individual complaints of headaches, burning in the gastrointestinal tract, dry mouth, lowering of blood pressure, dizziness, cyanosis, tachycardia.

If Spasmalgon is used for a long time, signs of disturbances in the hematopoiesis (leukopenia, etc.) may appear. Taking this medication can provoke an attack if the person is addicted to bronchospasm. When injected intramuscularly at the injection site, infiltrates occur.

If you take a larger than prescribed dose of Spazmalgon, drowsiness, vomiting, lowering of blood pressure, convulsions, dry mouth, confusion, increased sweating, etc. are possible. One way out: rinse the stomach and take activated charcoal.

In tablet form it is forbidden to take Spazmalgon (instructions for use say this categorically) with the following diseases: thrombocytopenia and agranulocytosis.
