The device of the asynchronous motor, its application

Asynchronous AC motor transforms electrical energy into mechanical. Is the most common in the industry. The device of the engine is quite simple, the work takes place at a constant current.

The device of the engine. It consists of three parts: a body, a stator and a rotor.

The housing serves as a protection for the rotor and stator against various damages and environmental influences. It mounts rigidly fixed parts.

The stator is a fixed part of the engine. The main parts are: magnetic core and frame. In the engine bed, the pressed magnetic circuit forms a stator (the core is electromagnetic). At the expense of the nucleus, a magnetic field is formed, which is rotational. The air gap separates the rotor and stator.

The rotor is a moving part of an electric machine.

Due to the rotation of the magnetic field and the conductor located inside, an interaction takes place, on which the principle of operation of the induction motor is based. The stator creates a rotating magnetic field and is fixed motionless. The starter itself is a core made of steel, on which there is a winding fixed in special grooves.

The magnetic field, when the winding of the rotor intersects, forms inside the EMF. As a result of this action, a current flows in the winding, which interacts with the magnetic flux. When the magnetic field of the stator and the current in the rotor interact, a rotational torque is formed. Rotation of the rotor occurs in the same direction as the field, but with a small lag.

As a result of the entry of electric energy from the network into the stator winding, it becomes mechanical.

The number of pairs of pluses determines the engine speed.

The device of the induction motor divides them into two types: with a phase and squirrel-cage rotor. They differ in the rotor arrangement. The starting winding of the short-circuited is a rod, which consists of aluminum or copper, and on both sides of the rotor are closed by two rings. In the phase winding of the motor is connected by a "star".

The device of the engine can be of different protection:

Protected - equipped with a device that protects against accidental touches to parts that are under tension or moving. Do not allow foreign objects to penetrate inside. Cooling is due to the environment.

Splash-proof, protects against water droplets that fall perpendicularly, or at an angle of forty-five degrees. Such a device does not prevent the penetration of dirt and dust.

Closed, in which the internal parts are protected from external influences (droplets, dust).

Dustproof, protects against the penetration of even fine dust.

Closed blowing, which is ventilated from the outside by the ventilation system. The fan is located outside and is closed by a casing.

Sealed, is a very powerful protection against penetration from the outside.

The induction motor is controlled by sensors that regulate the rotor speed. The simple device of the engine made it possible to apply it not only in production, but also in everyday life.
