The concept of the organization and its role in management

Management, or the science of management requires strict system and organizational clarity. Therefore, the very concept of "organization", and the notion of organization in management, are closely related and interdependent.

Definition

The word "organization" is multi-valued. It can also mean a group of people united by some common material, scientific, ideological, etc. Interests, a series of measures, orders, actions taken to debug the normal operation of any mechanism (for example, the organization of the educational process). Thus, the notion of an organization sounds like this: it is a group of people (two or more people) working together to achieve any common goals. An organization is considered simple if it decides to implement one goal, and difficult if at least two goals are realized.

Organization and Management

In the management system, the organization is a complex concept. For her, the following factors are important:

  • Mandatory availability of any resources (these may be human resources, ie people, information, technological, raw materials, material, etc.);
  • Communication with the environment: this includes laws that regulate the activities of both the manager himself and the enterprise as a whole, as well as consumers for whose sake the firm works, suppliers providing the organization with raw materials, etc .;
  • The distribution of labor in the horizontal plane (large-scale production is divided into a number of smaller ones, with a narrow sectoral focus, for example, the production of a car-assembling its mechanisms separately, etc.);
  • Division into sectors and departments;
  • Distribution of labor in the vertical plane (activities coordinating "horizontal" production ");
  • Mandatory management.

Who is the manager?

The manager is simple-it's the manager. The concept of an organization necessarily includes a control element. And the manager is a management specialist, in the scope of his activity is the organization of the workflow at the firm, the management of the employees of the enterprise, etc. In fact, the manager is an official person, he can enter both the middle and top management of the organization. Its competence is the executive branch.

The concept of management organization is associated with the implementation of certain rules, non-compliance with which often leads to the failure of the workflow of the enterprise or firm. Then the goals and tasks set will be unreached.

Golden rules of management

Among the rules, the observance of which guarantees sufficient stability and stability of the labor process, it is possible to attribute the following:

  • The so-called specialization rule. It consists in employing new technologies in the labor processes, delineating production by separate specialized branches, training and improving the skills of the management apparatus in various areas of scientific and technical innovation;
  • Rule of integration. Its necessity is proved both by the needs of production itself, and by the quality of management of production activities. The essence of the rule is to combine the actions of the management apparatus and subordinate units in the overall process. This includes the goals, tasks that the enterprise faces, as well as the needs and interests of the market where the enterprise directs its products;
  • Rule of careful attitude to time, saving it. It is important not only in the production of so-called material products. The essence of the rule is that achieving the goals will be faster, the sooner the manager will be able to respond to the specific needs and demands of the market, the sooner he will be able to mobilize external and internal factors of the production process for the realization of market needs and requests. The concept of the organization of the management process is directly related to this rule. Because the more vigorously, the more quickly the manager will be able to adjust to market changes, the sooner the arising problems resolve, the more competitively will be his firm or enterprise. Therefore, this rule can be relevant not only within one particular production, but also affect the economy of the whole region, and by and large - the state.
