The bearing is a very important part of many mechanisms. Without it, they will not be able to carry out their work. To date, there are a lot of different bearings, and each has its name, shape and size. They are used widely, and they can be found in any modern mechanism. It is worthwhile to consider in more detail how this part is arranged.

The bearing of the support consists of cylindrical rollers that are laid out transversely, and each subsequent is located perpendicular to that which is located in front of it. In addition, they are separated for protection by a separator (an apparatus separating a product into parts). Thanks to this design, one bearing is able to accept the load from all sides. Even axial radial loads are not excluded. Due to their excellent performance and ease of installation, these bearings can be quickly installed in parts and components of modern vehicles.

It is worthwhile to list the most frequently encountered models of these details.

1) Support bearing with outer ring (or with internal integrated). It has mounting holes, it does not need pressure flanges. The work of this design is not affected by the installation, so that the accuracy of rotation is always stable. This type of bearing is used to rotate the outer and inner rings.

2) Support bearing with outer ring, which is separated to rotate the inner ring. So, the first is separated, and at this time the second is connected to the body. Such a model is used if rotation of inner rings is necessary.

3) A bearing bearing with a detachable inner ring for making the rotation of the outer ring. This part has the same characteristics as the previous one. Only used wherever the precision of the ring rotation is required, which is located outside.

4) Solitary-divided. It has identical characteristics as the previous two. However, he has increased stiffness.

It is impossible not to mention the replacement of bearings. If the bearing of the column began to knock, it needs to be changed urgently. It is very easy to make a replacement. There are many ways to do this.

It is possible to carry out a full dismantling of the rack unit with a brake disc and a fist. The process will take a lot of effort, but it will not be necessary to establish a disorganization in a new way.

The other way is easier - you just need to separate the rack, for which you detach the steering fist. Then it is necessary to remove the upper part with the spring of the shock absorber and actually them.

Another option. To begin with, remove the rack, then the springs. Then unscrew the upper nut that is located on the shock absorber rod. Then it is necessary to remove the support bearing - you will see the second nut on the rod. It also needs to be replaced by one that is thinner.

How can I tell if it's time to change a part? If, during cornering or braking at low speeds, a creak is emitted somewhere in the vicinity of the wheels. After such sounds, the steering wheel goes to the right. Even if you hear a rattle somewhere near the shock absorbers during the passage of "lying policemen" and unevennesses.
