Manic beads - a recipe familiar from small years

Sometimes quite ordinary dishes in other decorations can cause completely new feelings. So, for example, semolina porridge in children is often very negative reaction, although later it sometimes becomes for them almost a favorite dish. How can I guess? The answer is quite simple - you just have to experiment in serving simple and healthy dishes. Because Children watching the saturation of various dishes of the adult table intuitively want the same variety or at least a new design of the usual culinary masterpieces of their mothers. Therefore, you can try a little cunning and cook for your favorite children, not just semolina porridge, but, for example, manna bits with kissel.

Manic beads, the recipe of which has long been unchanged, we will now try to translate into reality. This will require the following ingredients: semolina - 200 grams, pasteurized milk-300 grams, boiled water - 200 grams, 2 tablespoons of sugar. For many, children still have a picture of burnt or lumps of semolina in their minds, so to avoid these mistakes, we will tell you how to make manna little bits delicious and sweet.

Pour into a saucepan with a capacity of two liters of pasteurized milk and water, slightly salted, so that it burns less, and milk does not run off. It should be remembered that the less grinding of semolina, the faster the porridge will be ready. We allow the liquid to boil (90-92 ° C) and, sifting the croup through a sieve or simply adding it with a spoon, we begin to mix it intensively at the same time, so that the croup is evenly swollen, not forming such lumps that have been known since childhood. Manna croup should be added quickly enough, and the fire at the same time to reduce, otherwise the first portion of the filled cereals will begin to grasp, and the latter will not have time to swell, and again lumps are formed. After the last portion of the poured grains, cook for 2-4 minutes until a thick creamy consistency is obtained. Add sugar and mix. Remove from the heat and let the cereal to infuse for another 7-10 minutes under the lid: during this time, the gluten will swell even more, giving a greater viscosity to the porridge.

Now the porridge should cool, so that we do not burn our hands, preparing manna bits. This recipe assumes the formation of rounded cakes like cutlets. To do this, we take the spoon from the table with a spoon, and put the desired shape into our hands. Beat the chips with semolina or breadcrumbs. On a heavily heated frying pan with thick walls (better cast iron or non-stick coating), add 20 grams of butter. The oil should boil (if you drip water, then it starts to give splashes), we spread manna bits, the recipe of which we, in fact, sound. Place them in the dishes they need freely, so that it would be convenient to turn them over. Fry on either side for 2-3 minutes until a beautiful golden crust. We remove them in a plate and do not cover anything, so that the crust is preserved crispy.

We pass to the second stage. We will prepare the jelly. If there are frozen or fresh berries and fruits, then this is the best option, because then the kissel will turn out to be natural, saturated to taste, color and aroma. To do this, take 300-400 grams of black currant and grind it in a blender. Homogeneous berry mass strain through cheesecloth or fine-mesh sieve, free of seeds and peel. Add sugar to it, orienting, of course, to your child's requests, and again carefully vymeshaem. Add 1 tablespoon of starch in the juice-mash. On the stove put the pan with two liters of water and boil it. Gradually, stirring, we will pour berry juice and cook until the liquid begins to thicken. Kiss should be cooled to 30-35 ° C.

Manna bitovki, the recipe of which was taken as a basis, bring to a logical conclusion. In vases lay out little bits and water with kissel. The amount of jelly is regulated by your child's preferences. Bon Appetit!
