We are all very different. Some people radiate self-confidence, while others constantly show indecisiveness and uncertainty. Obviously, it is much easier to manipulate a weak person than by those who are called "strong personality". Examples of a person who always takes a dominant position, can be brought to infinity. But is it possible to say unequivocally, who is such a strong person and how does he differ from others?

Who can be called a strong person?

It is difficult to accurately describe all the qualities of a strong personality, but the main distinguishing features can still be identified:

1. A high level of self-confidence and self-confidence.
2. Ability to control your emotions.
3. A very important point - a strong person has a high degree of independence: he is independent of the opinions of others, various prejudices and public opinion.
4. A strong individual always knows what he wants from life, and is persistent in achieving his goals.
5. A strong person looks at the world from a position of reason and is able to analyze the events sensibly.

Of course, this is not an exhaustive characteristic of a person, to whom you can safely attach a label "strong personality". Examples of a person with these qualities do not necessarily hiccup among famous and outstanding people. After all, not all people who occupy serious government posts can be called a strong personality.

People with a strong character live among us. They do not necessarily occupy prestigious positions and lead others. They just remain themselves, do what they love and do not fall under the influence of the crowd.

Strong = Successful?

Naturally, a strong person is much easier to succeed. If a person has a goal and he constantly aspires to it, then it is usually said about him that he is a strong person. Examples of a person who does not seek success, on the contrary, do not inspire respect in society. Such people are considered weak-willed and insecure in themselves.

But can we say that success and purpose are the same? Is it possible that only a person who has achieved success can be referred to the prestigious category of "strong personality"? People often do not understand the expression "strong man" to the end. Indeed, by the word "success" we often mean money, power and glory.

In fact, the self-sufficient person herself makes her choice, regardless of the opinions of others. For such people, success is not wealth, influence and fame. For them, success is not to succumb to someone else's influence and do what they personally want. It turns out that the goal and success are different things in the public understanding, but they are absolutely identical for a strong personality.

The ability to be an individual, have your own opinion and adequately assess your own strengths and weaknesses is what characterizes a strong personality. Examples of a person strong in spirit and character, you can see not only on the TV screen or in glossy magazines, but also in a tram, on the street or at work. Or maybe it's you who are really strong and self-sufficient and an example for many people.
