In Soviet times, mistresses sometimes had to go to the trick in order to cook something delicious for the whole family out of a poor range of products. Of course, those years are long past, but the recipes of such "porridge from the ax" still live in our culinary books. For example, a soup with melted cheese and chicken. Try to serve this dish by dinner, it will be an excellent alternative to the usual borscht or shcham and will surely please the children. All cooking will take you a maximum of half an hour, which is ideal for a working mom.

How to cook delicious soup with melted cheese and chicken

On a medium-sized saucepan you will need:

  • 1-2 chicken breasts without skin;
  • 3 potatoes;
  • Half a carrot and onions;
  • 2 pieces of a fused cheese of the "Friendship" type is a very budget option, you can also take 6-8 slices of "Hochland" cheese without flavorings and so on;
  • A couple tablespoons of any vegetable oil;
  • One bay leaf, chopped greens, salt and any other your favorite seasonings.

In the pan, add the chicken cut into small pieces, add salt, add bay leaf, top up with water and cook for a maximum of 15 minutes. After lay out the diced potatoes. From a large grated carrot and finely chopped onions, make a toast: put vegetables in a frying pan with vegetable oil and cook them until soft. Next step, send this mixture to the pan. Soup with melted cheese and chicken should be cooked for about 15 minutes, and the main and most delicious ingredient - the bars of "Friendship" or "Hohland" - added at the last moment. They need to be lowered into the soup and mixed well - the cheese should completely dissolve. Done. Garnish with fresh herbs, for example, grated carrots, and serve to the table.

Here, your attention is offered a more refined recipe, the finished dish should be brought to a creamy state in a blender and served with croutons, or, as they say in France, with croutons. To prepare a dinner just like in Paris, take:

  • Half a kilo of chicken without skin;
  • Half a kilo of potatoes;
  • 200 g of melted cheese;
  • 2 small carrots;
  • Large bulbous bulb;
  • Butter (cream), spices of choice and garlic breadcrumbs.

Prepare soup with melted cheese simply: put a chicken cut into small pieces into a three-liter pot, add the spices. Cook the bird need not more than 20 minutes, after a specified time it will be ready. After the pot, place the potatoes and fried on small cubes of chopped onions and grated carrots, cooked in butter. After 15 minutes at the final stage, put the melted cheese, it should completely dissolve in the soup. Done. This dish is similar to the previous recipe, but there are differences. Traditionally it is scraped in a blender, and served with toast roasted in vegetable oil and generously sprinkled with herbs. That's it in this case, a delicious soup with melted cheese acquires a truly French flavor.
