For the generation born in the two thousandth, Steve Jobs is the inventor of the iPhone, a phone that, half a year after its appearance in the smartphone market, has become the most desired in the world. Although in reality this man was neither an inventor nor an outstanding programmer. Moreover, he did not even have a special or higher education. However, Jobs always had a vision of what humanity needs, and the ability to motivate people. In other words, the success story of Steve Jobs is a chain of numerous attempts to change the world of computer and digital technologies. And let most of his projects fail, but those that succeeded, forever changed the life of the planet.

Parents of Steve Jobs

In February 1955, a student of the magistracy of the University of Wisconsin Joan had a son. The father of the boy was a Syrian emigrant, and the lovers could not get married. At the insistence of the parents, the young mother was forced to give her son to other people. They were Clara and Paul Jobs. After adoption, Jobs named the boy Steve.

Jobs have managed to become the ideal parents for Steve. Over time, the family moved to live in the Silicon Valley (Mountain View). Here in his spare time the father of the boy was repairing cars and soon attracted to this occupation and the little son. At school, the boy first learned badly. Fortunately, the teacher noticed the boy's extraordinary mind and found a way to interest him in his studies. Wozniak (Woz), Jobs introduced his classmate. Young people almost immediately became friends.

At first, guys just joked at school, arranging rallies and discos. However, a little later they decided to organize their own small business project.

At a time when the youth of Steve Jobs (1955-75) passed, all used stationary telephones. The subscription fee for local calls was not very high, but to call in another city or country, had to fork out. Wozniak jokes for the sake of the device designed to "crack" the phone line and make any calls for free. Jobs also arranged the sale of these devices, calling them "blue boxes", at $ 150 per piece. In total, friends managed to sell more than a hundred such devices until they were interested in the police.

Moreover, six months later he dropped out of school and, after being carried away by Hinduism, began desperately to seek enlightenment in the company of unreliable friends. Returning from the journey, the young man took a great interest in Homebrew computer club. In this club, engineers and other fans of computer technology (which only began to develop) shared ideas and developments with each other. Over time, the number of club members grew, and his "headquarters" from the dusty garage moved to one of the auditoriums of the Center for Linear Accelerators in Stanford. Apple Corporation

Like most business projects that Steve Jobs organized in his youth, Apple's appearance was associated with his friend Steven Wozniak. It was Jobs who suggested to Woz to set up the production of ready-made computer boards.

Soon Wozniak and Jobs registered their own company called Apple Computer. The first Apple computer, created on the basis of the new board of Vos, was successfully presented at one of the meetings of the Homebrew computer club, where the owner of a local computer store became interested in him. He ordered the guys fifty computers. Despite many difficulties, Apple completed the order. With the money earned, friends collected another 150 computers and sold them profitably.

In 1977, Apple introduced the world its new offspring - the Apple II computer. At that time it was a revolutionary invention, thanks to which the company turned into a corporation, and its founders became rich.

Since Apple became a corporation, the creative paths of Jobs and Wozniak began to diverge, although they were able to maintain normal relations to the end.

Prior to his dismissal from the company in 1985, Steve Jobs oversaw the development of computers such as Apple III, Apple Lisa and Macintosh. True, not one of them failed to repeat the grandiose success of Apple II. Moreover, by that time a huge competition arose on the computer equipment market, and Jobs's products eventually became inferior to other firms. As a result of this, as well as numerous multi-year complaints from employees of all levels to Steve, he was removed from the position of the head. Feeling betrayed, Jobs himself resigned and started a new project NeXT.

NeXT and Pixar

The new creation of Jobs initially specialized in the production of computers (graphic workstations), adapted to the needs of research laboratories and training centers. In the mid-nineties, Jobs was invited to return to work at Apple. First of all, the "old-new" leader refused to produce a wide variety of products. Instead, he focused on developing four types of computers. So there were professional computers Power Macintosh G3 and PowerBook G3, as well as iMac and iBook, designed for home use.

Back in 2003, Steven Jobs discovered pancreatic cancer. However, the necessary operation was done to him only a year later. It was successful, but time was lost, and the disease spread to the liver. Six years later, Jobs's liver was transplanted, but his condition continued to deteriorate. In the summer of 2011, Steve officially resigned, and in early October he was gone.

Nobody knew everything about Steve Jobs, since he was always immersed in himself. No one could understand what was actually happening in his head: neither the loving adoptive family, nor the biological mother with whom Steve began to communicate already as an adult, nor his own sister Mona (whom he also found when he grew up), neither the spouse nor the children.

Shortly before entering university, Steve had a relationship with hippie girl Chris Ann Brennan. After a while she gave birth to his daughter Lisa, with whom Jobs did not want to communicate for many years, but cared about her.

Before his marriage in 1991, Stephen had several serious novels. However, he married Lauren Powell, whom he met during one of his lectures. For twenty years of family life, Lauren gave Jobs three children: Reed's son and daughters Eve and Erin.

Biological mother Jobs, giving him up for adoption, forced the adoptive parents to sign a contract, according to which, they pledged to give the boy a higher education in the future. So all the childhood and early youth of Steve Jobs were forced to save money for training his son.
