Smartphone Tele2 Mini: reviews, manufacturer, owner's manual

Budget gadget for two SIM cards with more than an acceptable price tag (2190 rubles) will certainly find its buyer. The main purpose of the device is to provide an inexpensive smartphone to potential Tele2 subscribers who do not want or simply can not pay for a phone with 3G support five or more thousand rubles.

Smartphone Tele2 Mini (characteristics, performance, autonomy, etc.) does not shine technical characteristics, but, nevertheless, for its price gadget is quite good. The cost of the device, in any case, will attract its customer, so consider the gadget in more detail in order to determine the eternal question: "To take or not to take?"

So, the hero of today's review is the smartphone Tele2 Mini: details of working with it, the main technical characteristics, design, ergonomics and whether it is worth buying it at all. In the calculation will be taken the opinions of experts and reviews of ordinary gadget owners.

Price policy

In some regions, the 2G network is not supported by Tele2, so some of the audience, alas, will be lost. Nevertheless, the ratio of the price and characteristics of the device can be designated as the standard of "budget". The lion's share of the cost of the gadget is assumed by the operator himself, the other part is made up in the form of a monthly fee by the client, and the rest of the amount we see already on the store window.

If you take into account the "bare" price, it turns out that for 4-4,5 thousand rubles you buy a smart phone Tele2 Mini. Who the manufacturer of the gadget, the company refuses to specify, referring to the policy of the brand, but with scrupulous analysis of the device it turned out that 80% of all components belong to the Chinese company Haier.

Positioning

The key task of the device is to provide "Tele2" subscribers with access to a 3G network for very modest money. We can say that the smart phone Tele2 Mini managed this task. Reviews about the price and technical characteristics of the gadget vary greatly in specific forums. Someone would prefer to spend this money on a high-quality 3G-caller on the buttons or a clamshell, and someone quite arranged this option.

Otherwise, if you look at all the Tele2 Mini smartphone (reviews, specifications, etc.), then we will see that the range of the target audience of the gadget is very wide. This can include children who can use the device as a shovel in the sandbox, and respectable gentlemen who want an inexpensive call with the smartphone function for two SIM cards. In general, as an entry-level gadget, this phone is suitable for many, and the deficit at official sales points confirms this once again.

Equipment

After opening the box, you will see a full set of components for this kind of gadgets: a Tele2 Mini smartphone, a case (variably), a connecting cable, a charger for 0.7 A. Also included is a detailed manual and a mediocre headset. Just worth mentioning that with a regular charger the phone charges almost three hours, so it's better to look for some analogue of an ampere for 2, which for half an hour will energize the smartphone Tele2 Mini.

The characteristics of the headset are very modest: the quality of the sound is lousy, but the interlocutor is more or less audible - thanks also to this, you do not need to run around the markets / salons in search of headphones and spend obviously not extra money and time. The wires and plugs look remarkably strong, and the charger plug does not go shaky, as it usually does with Chinese budget-minded people.

Also pleased with the correctly localized and more than detailed user manual. The Tele2 Mini smartphone as a whole is 100% complete, so after purchase it is not necessary to buy anything - pay and use.

Design

As for weight, there are no surprises here. For the 4-inch model, the phone weighs quite normally - 111 grams. The corners of the device have a straight outline, and the case resembles a classic "boat" - all this looks more or less modern, unlike the rounded "soap-boxes" from all sides.

The only thing that surprised us a little was the camera's opening window: a 2-megapixel peephole without autofocus could be done and flush. In all other respects, it's quite an ordinary smartphone Tele2 Mini. Reviews about the design vary greatly: to someone in general it does not matter what a "dialer" looks like for such a ridiculous price, and someone makes clear demands for the money spent.

Design

The design as a whole without a complaint - everything is boring and nothing interesting. There are no backlashes, the slots are visually invisible, the parts are densely standing in their places, no crunches or punctures are seen. The back of the smartphone is a little "rustling" under your fingers, which for sure not everyone will like, but the device does not slip out of hand and it's okay.

The layout of the case is standard - a tray with a monoblock. Amateur detailed disassembly showed that the smartphone Tele2 Mini (4pda, pdalife, etc.) is equipped with branded (albeit Chinese) components, which are signed and numbered, that is, in case of repair can be replaced without any problems.

The rechargeable battery at the removable device. The speaker and the multimedia grill have gotten right: the hole does not overlap with the rest of the components and the sounds do not muffle. On the upper edge you can see the headphone jack, there is also a connector for micro-USB.

At the bottom of the device is only a hole for the microphone, and strongly shifted to the left side. As for right-handers, this is an ideal option for them, but left-handers will experience some discomfort by buying a smartphone Tele2 Mini. Reviews are full of indignation about this and "infringement of rights" almost 20% of all customers. But in any case, during the conversation, the palm does not block the opening of the microphone, so this moment can not be called critical.

The arrangement of the mechanical buttons is standard: the multifunction off button is on the right, and the volume rocker on the left side. No backlash or creaking was seen, but some owners sometimes complain about too tight a button stroke. However, this is better than accidental clicks in a purse or jeans pocket. The rocker and the power button are easily groped and protrude, as they say, just right.

Smartphone Tele2 Mini (black) has marked white buttons without illumination - the manufacturer is not clear why he saved at this moment. Also there is no LED indicator of events, to which owners reacted with a large number of cons in the reviews.

Display

Despite the outdated TFT-matrix, the smart phone Tele2 Mini (black) produces a more or less decent picture, and with small turns of the device the colors on the display are almost not distorted. With a strong change in the viewing angle, gamma, naturally, completely loses its original saturation. And the darker the image, the stronger the inversion, so with textual information (black on a white background) you can work quite comfortably.

The display gives a kind of blue, and the "branded" wallpaper of the operator "Tele2" further exacerbate this effect. Grieved the lack of technology MiraVision, greatly simplifying the work with the adjustment of the color gamut of the screen, it would be just right for the place on this device.

The density of pixels per inch is 233 ppi, which is quite good for a budget gadget (middle price segment devices have from 300 ppi). Also there is a protective oleophobic coating, although ineffective: the finger during work with the gadget glides badly on the screen.

In the opinion of the owner of the fly, the owners consider the "zamylnost" of the text in a quick scrolling, like flipping the tapes "VKontakte" or "Classmates." Also, users noticed some inhibition when rendering a picture.

Communications

Somehow the owners did not notice any problems with the data transfer, and sometimes the thoroughbred smartphone in some cellar refused to catch the network, in contrast to "Tele2 Mini", which, albeit with pauses and slowly, but continued to work. The manufacturer promises a theoretical maximum of data transmission at a speed of 21.6 Mb / s, but in fact it was not possible to squeeze more than 13 Mbps even near the tower.

As for Wai-Fay, there are no complaints - the network works without problems and losses: the sensitivity is average, no less than the range.

Secondary characteristics

To the sound of any claims from the owners there: the voice speaker was a good indicator, even surpassed similar Chinese mid-level models. Some complain about the distortion of colors when watching videos on "Youtube", but the total mass of owners of the critical difference is not seen. In any case, it is not worth waiting for some miracles from an explicit budget.

If you use the smartphone functions sporadically, then the battery will last for a very decent time, although for such a device it would be possible to make a battery and do more - the thickness of the device is not so important.

Summarizing

By the combination of features, qualities and functionality, the device is more than worth its money. Take the same screen by 4 inches, which today is just doomed to popularity. If you are not satisfied with something in "Tele2 Mini" for 2000 rubles, then it can always be changed to an iPhone with a "small" surcharge.

Almost identical analogue in our market is smartphone from MTS "Smart Start 2", but it costs one thousand rubles more. So if you do not make serious calls to your phone and you need an ordinary "dialer" with the basic capabilities of smart gadgets, then "Tele2 Mini" is a very good option.
