What is the engine heater?

This is a small device that generates heat by heating it or directly the engine or adjacent mechanisms. There are liquid models and electric ones. Parallel installation technique

At the same time, the collision of hot flows with a cold liquid does not add efficiency to the heating process. Therefore, many turn to an alternative scheme, which provides for not direct connection of the device to the cooling system, but parallel. What is the parallel installation of heating the engine? In this case, the coolant circulation circuit remains virtually intact, but a duplicate coolant circulation loop is connected to it, which will also interact with the cold flows, but in a softer mode. It can be embedded in the main line of the fuel system, after which the heating of the liquid passing through the formed shirt will be realized.

In addition to the heater, it will not be superfluous to install a thermostat, which is usually included in the package of branded devices. For example, there are devices with a thread. This is not the best option, but if there is no way out, then it is necessary to screw the mechanism into the available hole due to the force. By the way, the engine preheating system can be built in according to the same scheme, depending on the design features of the model. Another option involves the installation of a thermostat with spacers. At first the antennae of the mechanism is inserted into the niche of the tube, and then by means of clamping or by means of twisting, the spacers diverge and thus fix the device.

As the professionals note, heating the engine in winter with a pre-start device is by far the most practical and effective method. Of course, it requires costs and, as a rule, not the most pleasant editing procedures, but the end result justifies itself. In practice, the car owner will only have to manage the heating process with a few buttons.
