The self-made pipe bender is two steel pipes of small length with a diameter of approximately 70-150 mm, strictly perpendicularly concreted into a small plate or welded to the channel. The distance between them is approximately 300-600 mm. The pipe, which requires deformation, is inserted between the posts and, with a certain force, bends at the required angle.

The handmade manual bending machine can be made using two rollers, which are mounted on the axes so that their grooves are in the same plane, and the rollers' axes are at the same level. The distance between them should be 25-50 cm, the third roller is fastened between them in the same plane in the center and rises to a height of approximately 100 mm. With the help of a jack or a threaded spindle, this roller can be raised or lowered manually, this adjusts the radius of the bend. It is necessary to provide that the distance between the two main rollers can be changed depending on the specifics of the work.

Using a self-made pipe bender, you can bend any rolling section profile in the home. It must be remembered that the pipe usually has a small wall thickness and in the process of bending it can be deformed in diameter, and this is unacceptable. In this case, before installing it on the pipe bender, it is covered with sand, and after bending it is simply wiped out. The diameter of the resulting product remains constant over the entire length.

Usually they have a thin wall, and their use in construction leads to the saving of metal, and the shape of the geometry of such rolling profiles makes it possible to produce strong and beautiful designs. In the household, it is good to make greenhouses, canopies or canopies from such elements. The profile pipe differs from the usual round by its cross section. It can be square, oval or rectangular. This difference was the need to create a self-made pipe bender for a profile pipe. Its difference from the device for conventional pipes is that the rollers should be selected along the profile of the same cross-section as the product, otherwise the cross section of the bent element will deform.

The simplest homemade pipe bender for a profile pipe can be made by hand. A roller with a profile of the part to be bent is installed on the metal table. On the axis of this roller is attached a bracket with a clamping axis. On the same axis is mounted bracket with a roller, repeating the profile of the pipe. The workpiece is fed manually. The product runs between the rollers and the shaft, which pushes it to the guide roller. After several times rolling the tube between the rollers and the axis, we get a bend.
