'Nazonex': analogues, recommendations

"Nazonex" is a Belgian spray intended for the treatment of allergic rhinitis. Analogues of this rather expensive medicine are Nasobek (Czech Republic), Avamis (Great Britain), Fliksonase or Flukonazol (Great Britain), Aldetsin (Belgium), Erius (USA), Mometasone (Russia ).

All drugs belong to the group of glucosteroids, which can be used all year round. Their antiallergic effect becomes noticeable within half a day after the initial application.

"NAZONEX", analogues of this drug except for the anti-allergic action relieve inflammation, facilitate breathing. Therefore, specialists often prescribe it as part of complex therapy for the treatment of sinusitis.

Side effects may occur when using the medication. Most often, itching and burning, a feeling of dry mucous. Sometimes patients who use "Nazonex" (medicine analogs) may feel difficulty breathing. Sometimes there is bronchospasm, pharyngitis develops, nosebleeds begin. Women who have had nazonex during pregnancy may have a child with kidney failure.

For these reasons, take "Nazonex," its analogs without a doctor's prescription is strongly discouraged.

The active substance of the drug "Avamis" is fluticasone, fliksonase - fluconazole, "Aldecina" - beclomethasole, "Erius" - desloratadine.

All substances have a similar effect. However, only a doctor can decide which particular drug, "Avamis" or "Nazonex" is most suitable in this case.

Sometimes the opinions of ENT doctors differ. Some experts are convinced that "Nazonex", its analogs differ only in price and place of production. Others are sure that different active substances of drugs have different effects on the diseases.

In any case, the decision is made by the doctor. "Nazonex", "Fliksonase", "Erius", all other of the above drugs can not be taken without the appointment: this can lead to serious consequences.

"Nazonex," the analogs of the drug have many contraindications.

First of all, with special care they are prescribed to pregnant women. In adults, medications of this type do not affect the functioning of the kidneys. However, they can cause a pathology of fetal development.

Drugs are not prescribed for children under 12 years. Do not use them during infectious diseases or after surgery. Injuries to the nose are also a weighty contraindication for drugs.

"Nazonex", the analogs of the drug are not prescribed to patients with tuberculosis, suffering from any fungal infections, bacterial or viral diseases.

The choice of the dosage of the spray depends on the condition of the patient, the type of his disease.

Usually, children are recommended to use a spray (50ml per turn) twice a day. This is a preventive dose. The therapeutic dose can be doubled in special cases.

"Nazonex" is convenient because its packaging (spray) after several calibration pressures throws exactly 50 ml of the drug. Therefore, the dosage can be determined by the usual pressure on the spray head.

There are other forms of release of these drugs: pills, syrups, ointments. Syrups are usually prescribed to young children. Ointment is applied a thin layer in hives, allergic eczema, other diseases.

Which drug, "Erius", "Nazonex", "Fluconazole" or others prefer?

The answer is unequivocal: the one the doctor appointed.

However, sometimes the decisive factor is not the appointment of a specialist, but the price of the drug.

"Nazonex" on the average costs 700-850 rubles. Its analogue "Erius" (most often it is sold in tablets or syrup) - 500 rubles. "Fliksonaze" costs 600 rubles, "Aldetsin" - within 300 rubles, "Avamis" - from 500 to 600 rubles.

Naturally, the price depends on the region and the amount of the drug in the package.
