Redbro are chickens that are relevant to this species. These birds are derived from two breeds - the Malayan fighting and the Cornish. Despite the fact that they are imported from abroad, the chickens are well established in the climatic zones of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.

They have a rather attractive appearance. Large, with a dense plumage and a large head, with a red-brown or red, and in rare cases with a white coloring of feathers - all these are Redbro chickens. Description of pronounced features of layers of this breed: a comb of podiform or leaf-shaped forms, a rich color of the ear lobes, a short and clearly delineated beak. In addition, the birds have well-developed visible muscles, which they got from the fighting ancestors, as well as thick legs with well-developed metatarsals.

Productivity

Chicken Redbro, the breed characteristics of which correspond to the meat-egg direction, have a number of advantages in comparison with other kinds of poultry. First, they have very high quality and delicious meat. According to gastronomic indicators, it is classified as the highest category, as it is fibrous and lean. In addition, the roosters of this breed weigh an average of 4 to 4.5 kg, and laying hens - about 3 kg.

Preparation

Redbro are chickens, which are also rapidly gaining weight, but they are strong and resistant to various diseases, so they practically do not need any vaccinations or antibiotics. In addition, gaining weight quickly, they require less food than broilers.

Care

To ensure that the birds are healthy, good ventilation is necessary. The easiest way out is to make a window leaf. The second option is to cut a ventilation hole in the wall and cover it with a frequent net so that the rodents do not penetrate there.

The coop should be light, clean, warm and dry, its height is not more than 1.8 m. As for the temperature regime, it can fluctuate within + 2-27 ° C. The presence of drafts is generally unacceptable.
