Hot water is something without which there is no modern life

A centralized hot water supply is provided either in an open circuit or closed. The principle of the closed circuit is that in water heaters cold water is heated by steam or hot water from heat networks. Water heaters are put directly in buildings or in central heat points. The open circuit assumes that hot water is taken by the consumer from the heat network, which, in turn, eliminates the need for installing water heaters, reduces the likelihood of corrosion of pipelines.
It is only necessary to add a large amount of water to such systems, which has been previously processed, which eliminates the corrosion of even the most vulnerable pipelines.

In hot water systems, corrosion of pipelines under the influence of oxygen, which is contained in water, can proceed very quickly due to the oxidation of steel. For this reason, hot water can only pass through steel pipes with corrosion protection (most often it is a galvanized pipeline). To reduce corrosion of pipes, special pre-treatment of water is carried out immediately before feeding into the system in order to reduce the amount of oxygen in it. Also artificial increase of water hardness leads to a decrease in corrosion, because salts falling out of the hot water settle on the surface of the pipes in the form of a protective film.

Hot water is cleaned of impurities by chemical reagents, or cleaning is carried out without them. For household use, reagent cleaning is not used. As a rule, for such cleaning, a main filter for hot water is used , which is a filter jug working on the basis of ion exchange. The power of the filters depends on their size and the diameter of the cell of the filter element. A special thickened layer of plastic or stainless steel is the material from which almost all filters for hot water are produced. Filters are installed on the water main of the apartment, cottage or cottage.

In addition to filters for hot water in order to control the flow and save money (when paying for consumed water), cold and hot water meters are installed in the living room.

Mechanical counters differ from others with increased reliability, long service life, measurement accuracy and ease of installation. Counters are quickly installed in the water supply system and take up little space.
