You can clean silver from blackness by removing dark spots by brushing with finely chalked chalk or tooth powder. On the tableware of silver and silverware it is done as follows: the whole product is washed with soapy warm water, a mixture of ammonia with chalk or tooth powder is applied to a soft cloth.
