Recipes of samovy eateries and dessert
Indian cuisine will not leave anyone indifferent. Spicy and seductive dishes and ask in the mouth. Perhaps the most famous of them is samosa. These patties are mentioned in the Vedas! Propagating throughout Asia up to the Crimea, this dish was enriched with various national traditions of neighboring peoples. Therefore pies can be as snack bars - they are served with sauce, and dessert - in this case they sprinkle with powdered sugar. The filling for such products is mainly vegetarian or curd-vegetable. But there are exceptions. With meat and onions, "Samsa" is baked inside - the so-called Crimean samos. Recipe for a classic Indian dish as a filling assumes only vegetables with spices.
Let's consider several ways of preparing these incredibly tasty crispy pies. But whatever recipes of samovas we choose - dessert or snack bars - we need to knead the dough first. The number of ingredients is based on 10 pies. On the cutting board we pour out a glass of flour. We form a "volcano" with a "crater" at the top. In this groove we add two spoons of semolina and the same amount of vegetable oil. Sprinkle a pinch of salt. Add the water and roll out the elastic soft dough. Some recipes for samos suggest replacing vegetable oil with creamy. But then it must be melted, mixed with water and this liquid is added to the flour, kneading a tight dough.
Filling for pies, as already mentioned, can be very different. Mainly used exotic products, but here are recipes for samosov, which can safely be implemented in the conditions of Russian cuisine. We only need to stock up on Indian spices: half a spoon of garam masala, turmeric, ziri and coriander. You will also need two chili peppers. Three potatoes are cooked until ready in the "uniform", cleaned and kneaded with a fork. Finely chop a clove of garlic, a small root of fresh ginger, chili and a small onion. In a deep frying pan pour three tablespoons of butter and fry ginger, chili and garlic for a minute, then add the onion and a handful of green peas. We cook five to seven minutes. After that, pour spices, salt and juice, squeezed out of half a lemon. We continue to fry for another two minutes, after which we add mashed potatoes. Just two minutes, and turn off the fire.
Recipes for samos for dessert differ from the classic only stuffing. Cut the pulp of orange, rub the zest, mix the fruit part with 80 g of sugar and 400 g of fresh non-acidic cottage cheese. Another idea for a sweet filling: caramelize banana slices in sugar.
Nothing is complicated and the formation of samos. A recipe with a photo can simplify the task of how to do it. Piece of dough rolled into a thin cake, cut it in half. We take a semicircle, draw a diameter with a wet finger and connect, tearing it to make a cone. We begin this stuffing with stuffing. We punish it and we protect it from a third party. In a deep frying pan heated oil. It needs so much to have a layer of 2 cm thick. In it, fry samos, turning only once, until golden brown. Spread on a kitchen towel to drain excess fat.
