Meanings of the concept

In one of the values, the quota is defined as the share in joint business (production) and marketing. Also this concept denotes the size of the unit investment (one of the types of investments with the purpose of increasing capital, gaining increasing popularity).

There is also such a thing as a tax quota. What is it, it is not difficult to guess - this is the name of the amount of tax levied on a clearly expressed tax unit. However, many people hear this notion due to the phrase "quota for treatment". Indeed, there are such "assistants" in the medical field. If a person needed expensive treatment, then he can get it completely free of charge thanks to these same "helpers". So, the medical quota - what is it? And this is the very money that the state allocates for the treatment of an individual. But before that you need to go through such a procedure as the formulation of the quota, and besides not the fact that you will get it. It's no secret that expensive treatment is needed for many people, and the quota is what is it? This is a thing that exists in a rather limited number. So, before you require it, first ask if there are any at all and how many are left. You can find out about this in the health department, as well as in the hospital where you plan to be treated. And to give such information in hospitals (at least in most) there should be so-called quota departments.

How to get a quota?

For this you need to go through three stages - three special commissions. To begin with, your case should be examined by the doctors of the primary level, after - the regional health authority, and then - the doctors of the federal hospital. At the last level, it is already determined whether the applicant has medical evidence for the provision of highly qualified medical assistance (VMP) and whether its appropriate specialists are ready to accept it. In addition, the regional health authority is issuing a special electronic coupon called "Talon for the provision of VMP." By his number, a person can observe the "fate" of his quota.

Stages of registration of the quota

At the first stage, the patient needs to go to a polyclinic at his place of residence, where after examination by the attending physician, he will be given a referral to the health department if necessary, containing the signature of the head physician, an extract from the medical history and conclusions about the need for a VMP.

When all the necessary documents are received, the patient is sent to the regional health department for the passage of the second commission. Here, if it is recognized that the patient needs a VMP, he will be issued a special voucher, which has already been written above.

At the third stage, the commission determines the presence of contraindications for hospitalization and decides whether the profile of the selected institution is suitable for the patient.

Decision-making is extended for a long period, although officially it should take no more than one day. Because of this circumstance, many simply begin to look for the money necessary for treatment in order to start the healing procedures as soon as possible.
