This time the construction workers from Dubai stood out: it is there that the largest building in the world is located, and it is called the Burj Khalifa. Although the architect, strangely enough, is an American named Adrian Smith (he and before had experience in designing such tall buildings). All construction costs amounted to one and a half billion dollars.

It's terrible to think, but the height of the building is as much as 828 meters! And, of course, the number of floors here is also considerable - 163. The construction of the Burj Khalifa began back in 2004, and ended in 2010. It turns out that it was erected for 7 years!

The largest building in the world was originally decided to be called Burj Dubai, but on the opening day (January 4) this decision was changed, and today the building has a name known to people around the world.

At a level of 500 meters there is an observation deck, which is already fond of tourists from all countries. Strangely enough, the spirit captures only the height. Indeed, you can enjoy the view to the full only at sunset. In the afternoon, through the huge windows, only a semi-desert semi-urban landscape is visible. Here there are no more grandiose buildings, the city is not distinguished by an abundance of greenery, the rigor of geometric forms leads to discouragement.
