The bite of midge is not so harmless ...

With the onset of the long-awaited heat in nature, hordes of annoying mosquitoes and midges attack humans, wild animals, livestock ... What are the midges? These are small insects with a size of 2 to 6 mm, small fishes that look like small flies, whose females feed on fresh blood of a human or animal. In places where they breed and where their greatest accumulation is observed, there are rivers, swamps, meliorative canals, artificial and natural water bodies.

Special activity of midges is observed in the morning and in the evenings. They climb into the ears, eyes, can penetrate the respiratory tract, climb under the clothes. The saliva of the insect contains a hemolytic poison, so the bite of the midge causes a burning sensation, itching, swelling and soreness. However, when in a few minutes it begins to itch and tear, it becomes clear what is the reason. There is swelling and redness. Possible allergic reaction in the form of dyspnoea, dizziness and chest pain. In this case, you must immediately take up the treatment.

First, you should refrain from combing, so as not to damage the mucous membrane of the eye. Then you can resort to either traditional medicine or folk methods.
