"Pharmatex Cream" is a vaginal contraceptive that has a spermicidal effect. Also, this preparation is available in the form of capsules, tablets and suppositories. "Pharmatex Cream" is white, it is completely homogeneous with a light and pleasant scent of lavender. Packaged in aluminum tubes. The main active substance is a 50% solution of benzalkonium chloride, and auxiliary ones are lavender oil, citric acid, ethylene glycol palmitostearate, macrogol, sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate and purified water.

The spermicidal effect of this drug "Pharmatex Cream" is due to the fact that it is capable of destroying the flagellar membranes and the head of spermatozoa, after such damages they are no longer able to fertilize the egg cell. Activate this tool begins immediately after it is injected into the vagina.

Cream "Pharmatex" acts against Herpes simplex type 2, Chlamydia spp., Staphylococcus aureus, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Trichomonas vaginalis. Capsules are also deeply inserted into the vagina before the act begins. They last for 4 hours and one capsule is also designed for one sexual intercourse.

Tablets are administered in a manner similar to capsules, and each new intercourse involves the administration of one tablet. They are introduced no later than 10 minutes before the commencement of the act.
