Candles with glycerin

Candles with glycerin are a good remedy in cases of constipation of different origin: be they age, habitual or constipation, occurring in those whose mobility is limited. The action of these candles is very soft, but very effective.

When these suppositories are injected directly into the rectum, there is a slight irritant effect on the mucous membrane of the intestine itself. And as a result of this, the defecation stimulates defecation (bowel evacuation) at the reflex level. In this case, the feces noticeably soften.

Candles with glycerin, as a rule, are administered once a day for 1 candle. This procedure is recommended to be conducted no earlier than 15-20 minutes immediately after breakfast. But you should remember some contraindications. The only case is hemorrhoids at the stage of exacerbation, when the veins of the rectum swell and become inflamed.

It is also undesirable to use this drug when there are cracks in the anus or some inflammatory diseases of the rectum.

In the event of such a situation, it is necessary to stop the introduction of candles. Instead, it is better to enter in the rectum a warm sunflower, peach or olive oil (not more than 10-15 ml). This will have a healing effect and relieve irritation.

It should be noted that candles with glycerin, the instruction for the use of which is intended primarily for familiarization, and not for the appointment of self-medication, can not in any case be used without first consulting a specialist.

Often, problems with stools are observed in newborns. As a rule, in those children who are not on the breast, but on artificial feeding. This leads to constipation due to the fact that milk mixtures have the property of providing a fixing effect.

In such cases, mainly pediatricians recommend using candles with glycerine for newborns, because these suppositories on a small organism have absolutely no negative effect.

Despite the fact that many drugs today have a laxative effect, and quite effective, they, unfortunately, can not be used in early childhood. That is why glycerin suppositories are so popular at the present time. And very often young mothers are wondering where the candles with glycerin from pharmacies have disappeared?

This agitation is primarily due to the fact that this drug, despite its low cost, has a positive and effective effect. Candles in the intestine are not absorbed, which means that they have no systemic effect, which is an essential advantage.

In addition, the mechanism of their action is to increase the content in the rectum. At the same time, the receptors are irritated, which are located in the mucosa and control the process of emptying. Due to the fact that these candles are not addictive, they are used quite often.

Very often pregnant women suffer from constipation. Unfortunately, it is during this critical period of life, when the health of the future baby depends on the state of the mother's health, the most frequent violations of normal defecation. And if no other safe methods help, then the ideal solution is a candle with glycerin.

Although in some important and responsible period some precautions are still necessary. Thus, rectal suppositories are not recommended for use in the first trimester, because they have a relaxing effect, including on the uterus, which is still close enough to the rectum at this time.

Such an effect, according to gynecologists, is undesirable. In addition, to refrain from the introduction of candles should also be in case of threat of miscarriage. Also, such an introduction carries a risk in the period from 30 to 32 weeks of pregnancy.
