Penofol - characteristics and features of the material
The universality of penofol
This material is very popular on the market, because it can be used as a heater, for noise insulation and as a reflective insulation in indoor and outdoor premises. Moreover, because of its high technical properties of noise absorption, it is also used in the automotive industry. More often, penofol is used as a "nonshatter" on the doors of domestic cars.
Advantages of the material
In addition to the fact that this material can be used directly in three industries, it has a number of other advantages. The first plus concerns durability. In fact, penofol has an almost unlimited lifespan.
Penofol: characteristics and classification
At the moment, several groups of this material are known:
- "A" is the most popular type of penofol. Characterized by one-sided aluminum coating.
- "B" - not less demanded in the Russian market material. It differs from the former in the presence of a double-sided aluminum coating.
- "C" is the same penofol group "A", only on the reverse side has a self-adhesive coating.
- "M" - with a relief structure and a one-side foil coating. Like all previous versions, it has high noise and thermal insulation properties.
- "R" is a material with a 2-sided coating.
- «ALP». It has an extraordinary composition - on one side of the material is used foil, on the second - a polyethylene layer with a laminate coating.
The possibilities of the foam foam material
Characteristics of this insulation surpass the quality of many modern analogues. And even today, with a huge range of construction products, there is probably no such material that would organically combine all the qualities and the above advantages.
Application area
The range of use of penofol is very wide, which is explained by its optimal technical characteristics. In construction it can be used for:
- Insulation of ceilings, roofing, walls, basement, attic and attic space. As practice shows, the use of penofol saves up to four percent of the heat. In addition, this material prevents the formation of moisture on the surface, providing an excellent vapor barrier;
- Insulation of pipelines in heating and water supply systems;
- Insulation of windows and doors. Ingox foam foam hangs on a part of the wall, which has a battery. This is done to improve the heat transfer properties - hot air is not absorbed by the cold wall, but goes to the center of the room.
Also, this material can be found in ventilation, sewage, air conditioning, automotive and industrial sectors (food, gas and oil refining). In general, they are pasted technological equipment. Even in the army penofol found its application - here they are pasted boxes for ammunition and navigational instruments.
Cost of material
The price for this heater depends on two factors:
- Thickness of the material;
- Group to which penofol belongs.
Heaters of group "B" can have a thickness of 5 and 10 millimeters. In this case, in the Russian market for 1 square meter of this material will have to pay from 80 to 120 or more rubles.
The most expensive insulation is self-adhesive penofol. Due to the fact that on one side it has a self-adhesive structure, and the second one is covered with foil (correspondingly, a more sophisticated production technology is applied), the cost can reach 130-190 rubles per 1 square meter. So, we looked at what penofol characteristics have, and also learned its cost.
