The recipe for making a salad for a snack "Herring in a doublet" is very simple.

You will need the following ingredients:

Herring, eggs - 4 pieces; Onion - 2 pieces; Carrots - 3 pieces; Walnuts - 0,5 st; Sunflower oil, fresh cucumber, parsley spices: salt and pepper.

Preparation:

In case you buy not ready cut herring, but whole and not purified, then clean the herring. From the bones, carefully separate the fillets. Cut the fish into small pieces. Chop the walnuts. (Of course, other nuts can also be used, but the best ones are the walnuts). Peel the onions. Rinse and cut into cubes. Fill with sunflower oil. Boil the carrots. When it cools down, peel and grate on a coarse grater. Cook the hard-boiled eggs. Cool down. Cut into small cubes. Lay all the ingredients in layers on a dish.

1 layer - herring, 2 layer - nuts, 3 layer - eggs, 4 layer-onion, 5 layer - carrots.

Grease the top of the salad with mayonnaise. Sprinkle with herbs and decorate with slices of fresh cucumber. You can complement the decoration with circles of boiled carrots. This will give the salad a more festive and elegant look. The dish is ready.
