Maxim Anisimovich is the author of several textbooks on semantics, numerous publications in various publications. In addition, he was written several books that have become quite popular with the Russian reader. The book "The Self-Teacher of the Albany" touches on a rather pressing topic. With the development of the Internet, literacy of the population began to decline sharply, because now, in order to express their emotions, it is enough to send a picture. In this book we are talking just about how the language exists and develops on the World Wide Web. Electronic speech has undergone significant changes over the past decade, and the author tries to figure out where the new words come from, what they mean and how this new form of speech can affect the language. The publication contains a detailed analysis of the emergence of a new language environment, its specific features. As the author himself says, this book is about the language on the Internet. Well, the title "Self-taught Albany" - this is only a reference to the popular online jargon, circulated about 15 years ago.

"Russian language on the verge of a nervous breakdown"

The basis of this edition was a lot of articles and essays released Cronhaus. Collected and revised articles and included in the book, supplemented by selected comments of the author and readers. First of all, the book deals with erasing the norms of grammar, orthography, orthoepia and punctuation and their connection with the development of society. Maxim Cronhaus optimistic about the future and does not believe that innovations spoil the language, kill him. Rather, on the contrary, unnecessary panic is not justified, ahead of native speech only development awaits.

A special advantage of the book is that it is written in a very simple language, understandable to any person who is not a philologist or linguist. The publication was published in 2008, and in 2011 it was republished with additions and already under a new title. The revised book was called "The Russian Language on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown of 3D", a CD containing the author's lectures that did not duplicate what was written in the book was included in the package.

Linguist-popularizer

Now you are familiar with both the biography and the author's books. Krongauz Maxim Anisimovich is one of the most outstanding contemporary linguistic scientists. He played a significant role in the propaganda of the modern Russian language. It is the popularizer of the Russian language that Maxim Krongauz calls himself. The author's books diverge in huge editions, he is quite popular in the territory of the post-Soviet space, as he delivers information in an easy form. The basic position of a philologist is that the development of the Russian language is inevitable, and it is sometimes more important to be able to express your thoughts clearly and expressively in words than to have absolute literacy in writing.
