Andrey Verbitsky is a Russian writer, teacher and author of a unique teaching methodology

Andrei Aleksandrovich Verbitsky was born in the USSR in 1941. At the moment he is a psychologist of our country, a teacher and head of the department of psychology, in this case public and teaching at the MGU after M.A. Sholokhov.

Biography

Andrei Verbitsky in 1964 entered full-time studies at the Moscow State University for the Department of Psychology and graduated with honors in 1969. From the same year until 1974, he completed postgraduate studies and began his career at the Scientific Research Institute of the Institute of Advanced Training of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the USSR.

After graduation, he defended his thesis on "Mechanisms of independent regulation of sensorimotor work in a situation of stimulating uncertainty". Internship Andrey Verbitsky passed abroad, in the organization of UNESCO in the United States, and then in France on higher education, in particular, related to psychology and teaching.

After passing the internship and returning to the country, Verbitsky went to work in the research institute, in the department of higher school problems. He began his work as a senior researcher, and then was appointed as the head of the direction of pedagogical psychology. His work in this organization lasted until the end of 1990. In 1991 he defended another thesis, only now a doctoral dissertation on "Psychological and pedagogical foundations of contextual learning in the university."

In 1990 he was appointed the head of the direction of psychological and pedagogical difficulties of the education of the Research Center. He dealt with the problems of the quality of retraining of specialists of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In this position he stayed until 1995. In the same year, Verbitsky was offered to work as an assistant to the director of the Federal Institute for Educational Planning. And in 1997 Verbitsky Andrey Aleksandrovich began to head the chair of social psychology in the direction of pedagogy.

Scientific activity of psychologist

Andrei Verbitsky dedicated his work to the development and identification of not only social and pedagogical problems, but also the scientific and methodological difficulties of education. All his research he aimed at solving the key contradiction of highly professional education. He regularly took part in various projects of the Ministry of Education of our country, among them - the Higher School of Russia and "Innovative Pedagogical Technologies." He supervised and participated in the formation of the concepts of public permanent education and pre-diploma education.

The writer's theory of contextual learning

Andrey Verbitsky in his concept argues that key discrepancies and a huge number of discreet differences can be overcome with the help of contextual training. Its essence lies in the sequential forecasting of all forms of the academic direction of each student, and in particular not only the public content, but also the subject content, which is directed specifically to his future specialty.

The content of this training is based on two main sources - scientific information and the conclusion of highly professional work of a specialist.
