Membrane superdiffusion "TechnoNicol": composition, properties, types

At present, a completely new approach is used for the installation of the roof and its waterproofing. As a layer of waterproofing, PVC membranes are used. Thanks to this, the roof becomes reliable, resistant to climatic factors, elastic.

The use of standard materials from Europe in the harsh climatic conditions of Russia is impossible. Therefore, domestic specialists together with Western partners developed a superdiffusion membrane "TechnoNicol". Due to its composition it is suitable for use in our country.

Membrane superdiffusion "TechnoNicol". Specifications

In the process of membrane manufacturing, the main attention was paid to the following factors:

  • Protection of the roof from ultraviolet radiation.
  • The lack of harmful and environmentally hazardous components (for example, lead).
  • Protection from fire.
  • Ability to remove accumulated moisture (excess moisture in the warm season evaporates through the surface of the membrane).

The superdiffusion membrane "TechnoNicol" can be used on top of any substrate (wood, reinforced concrete, foam blocks and so on). Waterproofing can be laid during the construction of a new roof and reconstruction of the old one. There is a separate ruler, which is used to protect from moisture basement, wall surfaces. It is different in appearance. On its surface there are molded projections of small dimensions.

During the installation of roofing and operation, the superdiffusion membrane "TechnoNicol" has a number of advantages, the main of which are:

  • Ease of installation. The membrane can be lined with a single surface, without seams.
  • The design does not need an additional layer of waterproofing.
  • Can be used at any height, regardless of the floor.
  • It does not undergo chemical destruction, its fungi do not appear on its surface.
  • High strength. The "TechnoNicol" membrane can withstand a load of 1100 N on a strip 5 cm wide.
  • Resistance to temperature changes.

Composition of the membrane

The superdiffusion membrane "TechnoNicol" consists of three layers:

  • Above is a flexible PVC base, which resists the influence of surrounding factors. Due to the chemical additives that make up this layer withstands high temperatures and holds back the influence of open fire on subsequent layers. This is achieved by the addition of fire retardants and refractory fillers, which reduce the rate of oxidation reaction under the influence of high temperatures.
  • The middle layer consists of interwoven polymeric fibers. Serves as a reinforcing base. A robust mesh of polymer filaments withstands a prolonged load from a large amount of water or snow.
  • The lower layer of gray PVC protects the surface of the structure from contact with the membrane.

Varieties of the membrane

The company's building films can be of two types:

  • The superdiffusion membrane "Optima TechnoNicol" consists of three microporous layers. The lower and upper are made of non-woven fabric. They create a kind of skeleton for the central layer, which performs the basic functions. The central layer of polypropylene passes steam, but restrains water. This type of membrane is used in the installation of insulated roofs in low-rise buildings.

  • The reinforced superdiffusion membrane is used for the construction of pitched roofs and for finishing facades of high-rise buildings. It can also serve as a temporary roof (up to 4 months) for protection from the sun, wind and precipitation.

In addition, the PVC membranes, depending on the reinforcement, can be of three types:

  • RP - reinforcement of the film with a polyester net.
  • GR - fiber reinforcement or fiberglass was used as reinforcement.
  • SR - no reinforcement.

Installation of the roof with the use of the membrane "TechnoNikol"

To ensure that the membrane lasts a long time, certain rules must be observed when installing it.

The surface on which the superdiffusion membrane "TechnoNicol" will be laid out must be prepared beforehand. All sharp corners, debris and dirt are removed.

The material spreads out gradually so that air is removed between the surfaces. It decomposes in such a way that a single structure is obtained. Separate bands of the membrane are joined together by soldering. Fasteners must be on the entire contour.
