Lucerne (Switzerland) - a resort rich in architectural and natural attractions
An ancient city with a lot of attractions, the real gem of the country and the heart of its central part - all this is Lucerne. Switzerland is a very beautiful country with a lot of crystal clear lakes, high mountains with snowfields, rocky shores and interesting architectural structures. Not for nothing hundreds of thousands of tourists come here every year, because most of the local resorts answer the upper class. Lucerne stands out with a special color, only here you can see painted houses, ancient wooden bridges, fortress walls. Fans of active recreation will enjoy walks in the mountains, skiing and sledging. Enamored couples can stroll along the waterfront or sit in local restaurants. Both children and adults will enjoy cruises on the picturesque lakes with which Lucerne is rich.
Switzerland is especially beautiful in the dark, so you should buy tickets for an evening cruise to enjoy the mesmerizing spectacle of the illuminated banks of canals and lakes. The visiting card of the city is the 170-meter Wooden Bridge, which is considered the oldest in all of Europe. It is covered, under the roof are paintings by Henry Wagmann. Not all of them are in good condition, since in 1993 there was a fire that burned some specimens, they did not restore them, in order to preserve originality.
