In the 90's around the building of the picture gallery formed the park "Museon". The embankment itself in those years was a small street. It was located between the fence of the "Museon" and the river and was a parking place for cars of employees of local offices.

The Crimean bridge

This structure is in the list of the largest suspended structures available in Europe. The bridge is a pedestrian-road and is considered one of the most beautiful in Moscow. In its place in the old days was the same ford, which the Tatars used during their attack on the White-stone. The prototype of the modern construction was the Nikolsky floating bridge, which was built in the late 18th century. Made of wood. Further, this crossing was replaced by a metal structure, and in the third decade of the 20th century, Erected a modern bridge.

Crimean shaft

Excursion walks do not ignore the most famous of the local streets. This is the Crimean shaft. The street has not only a number of attractions, but also a rich history.

The Crimean shaft was formed in the 19th century, in the 1920s. Earlier on this place was the Earth Shaft. In the old days on this street were the apartments of the Crimean Khan. In them he stayed while visiting Moscow. Here, Crimean baths were erected as well. All the buildings of that time were made of wood. During the reign of Soviet power, the street began to take on its modern appearance. In the 20-ies of the last century, an agricultural exhibition was organized here, in the place of which today is the Park. Gorky. Today, this green island in the green metropolis is an ideal place for hiking, jogging, roller skating and other interesting and useful leisure activities.

Central House of Artists

On its territory, under the open sky, there is a sculpture museum, as well as a roomy area for organizing all kinds of lectures and a summer cinema.

Reconstruction

The center of cultural rest Krymskaya embankment in Moscow has become since 2013. After the reconstruction, it is an excellent pedestrian zone and a beautiful landscape park. Before that, the embankment was a nondescript street, located between the river and the park. However, the reconstruction completely changed it. At present, this pedestrian zone, which is well-equipped with all modern requirements, can rightfully be considered the most romantic and cozy corner of the capital.

Reconstructed and space under the Crimean bridge. Here, about 15 wooden benches have been installed, the cases of which are equipped with a lighting system. Before them is a small stage. This space, which remains dry even in the rain, is designed for street performers, as well as for film screenings, as planned by architects.

"Vernissage"

The Crimean embankment is an amazing and interesting place. Reconstruction of this zone affected the vernissage, which is located on it, which until 2013 was the longest in Europe. The artists exhibited their paintings right here under the open sky. Before here you could not just walk. The embankment served as the place where the exhibited paintings were purchased. Among the visitors of this vernissage often met famous sportsmen, politicians and show business stars.

After the reconstruction, Vernissage on the Crimean embankment is a closed pavilion, the length of which is two hundred and ten meters. The exhibition complex is designed for ninety-six artists. And places in it are provided completely free of charge.

It should be noted that the basis of the architectural composition of the renovated embankment was the wave. Its form can be traced in the roofs of the Vernissage, and in bicycle and pedestrian paths, in benches and artificial hills. The theme of the wave is especially visible from the Crimean bridge and emphasizes the neighborhood of this place with the river.

The playground, arranged in front of the Vernissage, looks unusual. It, unlike a usual lawn, is planted not with marigolds and petunias. On it grow interesting decorative and wild flowers, herbs and cereals. All plants have different heights and create a common unusual composition. Nearby grow European maples and limes of various species. Decorative berries are planted here. Basically, they are represented by hawthorn.

Dry fountain

The Crimean embankment never ceases to amaze its visitors. If you walk along it to the Central House of Artists, you can see the jet fountain. It is equipped with a system that allows laser projection of images. Such fountains are also called dry. The reason for this is the location of the bowl of water. It is built below the ground mark. In this regard, it seems that water jets strike directly from under the asphalt.

A dry fountain on the Crimean embankment is not the only one in Moscow. Similar to him was opened in July 2013 in Babushkinsky Park. However, the fountain on the Crimean embankment is much more spectacular. In the park, this structure has very modest dimensions. On the waterfront is a whole alley of similar fountains. Their jets not only have illumination, but also beat at different heights and at different intervals.

Rest zone

An interesting place is the territory between the Moscow River and the dry fountain. In this place on the Crimean embankment was equipped with a beautiful and cozy recreation area. There are garden furniture - small tables and tables and chairs. All of them are between rows of trees. This solution helps to create the most comfortable conditions for holidaymakers. If desired, you can conveniently find a job near a fountain or sit near a river.

Pedestrian waves

The Crimean embankment has a clear delimitation of zones. At its beginning from the bridge is the playground "Vernissage". Then follows the zone of the dry fountain, behind which the place of artificial hills and waves is arranged.

The river theme is set by the roof of the Vernissage. Further, it continues with paths that look like real waves after a dry fountain. Here people go for a walk and bicyclists go. Moving along such tracks is very invigorating. Especially they are loved by bicycle extremists and those whose hobbies are connected with jumping. As for pedestrian waves, their height reaches thirty centimeters. Bicycle paths in some places rise up to one and a half meters.

Puddle

A little aside from the artificial waves, another fountain was built. It has an overflow type and is called a "puddle". In this fountain you can moisten your hands or feet, sitting right on the bench. Everything is like a real puddle. The only difference is that the water here is constantly updated and, therefore, clean. But in any case, wet your feet or hands in an artificial puddle is only necessary in good weather. On the edge of the fountain are arranged lights.

Artificial hills

A section of the Crimean embankment, which begins after the fountain "Luzha", is equipped with separate hills. In this case they have different landscaping. On some hills you can see an ordinary lawn and growing trees. Others have the appearance of a forest edge, and on the third, tall grass grows. Especially spectacular are the hills that are near each other. It seems that you are not in the center of a huge metropolis, but at the edge of a forest. This effect is enhanced by the original lanterns-lamps, made in the form of giant mushrooms.

At the end of the Crimean embankment, where it goes to Yakimanskaya, a pavilion with a cafe and video rental has been built. It is noteworthy that you can get on its roof by bike or go. In winter, it easily turns into a snow slide for skating.

Walking along the Crimean embankment is not only pleasant, but also safe. The whole territory is illuminated by lanterns, which are built in the form of the letter "G". Some of the bulbs on the embankment are mounted directly into the paving slab and railings.

In any of the zones, every hundred meters you can see strolling stewards or guards. They will always come to the rescue if necessary.

In the cold season on the embankment you can warm up in any of the cafes working here, and in the summer lie on artificially arranged hills, planted with mosses and spike grasses. Deliver pleasure and reading a book in the shade of a tree.

River walks

The pier "Crimean bridge" (the Frunzenskaya embankment is on the opposite side of the river, just opposite) receives ships of various ship owners and companies. They are invited to take a fascinating walk.

From the pier you have a magnificent view of the Crimean Bridge and the Park. Gorky. Here you can start your journey on a river tram or on a boat. During the walk, vacationers can admire the magnificent views of Moscow and breathe the fresh air. And this can be done during navigation, which starts in early spring and ends in late autumn. A great pleasure and night walks. During these trips, Moscow appears in all the splendor of advertising lights and illuminated buildings.

It is not difficult to get to the Crimean moorage. There are convenient access roads for cars. However, parking near the pier is very inconvenient. The car is better left on the Frunzenskaya embankment.
