Lilia Kim: biography, personal life, creativity

Lilia Kim is a woman who today can be safely attributed to one of the most successful contemporary writers of Russia. Besides the fact that she regularly publishes her new books, Kim is also a script writer who is working on a variety of projects, including the First Channel. Her pen belongs to scripts for some serials, successfully shown on television. Among them, "Cream", "Mom will be against", "Money" and "Trying Faith".

Lily Kim's wife is also the well-known author and psychotherapist Andrei Kurpatov in Russia.

Short biography of Kim

This girl was born in St. Petersburg. Lilia Kim was born in May 1979. Information on the writer's family and her early childhood is not available for public access. But in one of her interviews the girl told about how from childhood she was taught that she should be independent and able to provide herself. The most terrible, according to relatives, what could happen to Lily, was that she would grow up and not be able to earn enough for her own food. Such an installation nearly broke the whole life of this bright and non-trivial writer.

Incorrectly chosen path and attempted suicide

Being a creative person and, apparently, from birth, endowed with a writer's talent, Lilia Kim dreamed of enrolling in the philological faculty. But the fear that the creative profession will not be able to bring her a good income has overcome the dreams and desires. After graduating from school, the girl entered the Engineering and Economics Academy named after Tolyatti. Kim received an economic specialty, acquired a profession that promised her quite a good salary. By the way, she graduated from the academy before all her fellow students, passing the exams externally. Having received the diploma, which was spent a lot of energy, Kim did not feel a single drop of happiness or satisfaction.

Now the writer herself recalls that during that period of her life she acutely felt some doomed uselessness of all that had happened to her. Based on the attitudes that were put into her head by those around her from childhood, she seemed to be doing everything right. But her inner instinct told her that everything that was happening to her was fundamentally wrong. A man who, from childhood, showed a tendency to literature and good musical abilities, having received the education of an economist, went into personal development in a blind corner. Lilia Kim at a fairly young age realized that in her life she had improperly built relationships with people and was engaged in completely unnecessary affairs.

The girl experienced an acute personal crisis, with which a young, talented, vulnerable and inexperienced person could not cope on their own. This all led to the fact that Lily wanted to die. The worst thing happened: she attempted suicide.

Fatal acquaintance with a wonderful doctor

The entire story, which could end in a truly tragic and irreversible impact, occurred on August 19, 1999. Fortunately, Lilya was found and rushed to the intensive care unit, and after that she was sent for therapy in the crisis department of the neurosis clinic Pavlov. To consult a patient, she was scheduled to meet with one of the psychotherapists, who turned out to be Andrei Kurpatov.

Therapy by Dostoevsky

As Lilia Kim herself recalls, she fell in love with her psychotherapist-consultant almost immediately. But the girl was well aware that from the side this story may seem insanely banal. Most of the patients fall in love with their doctors, and Lily was very afraid that Andrei would find out about her feelings.

After several sessions of psychotherapy, Andrei Kurpatov prescribed to his patient treatment of bibliotherapy, which included reading the works of F. Dostoevsky. It turned out that the doctor is well versed in literature, and Lilia realized that, perhaps, in literary works, there is a secret that will help her to win the heart of a beloved man.

The first written work

After leaving the hospital, Kim Lilia Alexandrovna was determined to start life anew, and, of course, she remembered her passion for literature. The young woman decided that now there will be a limited amount of time to work, so that the earned enough for the most necessary. The rest of her free time, Kim decided to devote to what gives her real pleasure.

Andrei gave Lila his phone number so that, after finishing the treatment, she could receive advice or the necessary consultation. She wanted to write something like this, after reading what Dr. Kurpatov would immediately understand how she sees the world and what kind of person it really is. It was then that Lily Kim began to write her first independent work called the "Bible-Millenium." When the first few stories were ready, the girl called Kurpatova and let him read them. At the same time, about one and a half years have passed since her discharge from the neurological dispensary. The doctor was delighted with the reading, called Lily and said that she was a genius.

Decisive move

Circumstances developed in such a way that Lily decided to change her old housing and move to the area where her beloved doctor lived. Andrei knew that the girl lives alone and there is no one to help her with the move. He took the initiative and offered his help. Naturally, Kim did not refuse.
Becoming neighbors in a certain sense, young people began to see much more often: they walked together along bookstores, watched films. And in the end in 2000 Andrei made a favorite offer of the hand and heart, from which Kim at that time could not simply refuse.

Daughter of Sonia

Like most of the newlyweds, the Kim-Kurpatovs were very eager to have a baby. But very few people know that almost 3 years after the wedding, Lily could not get pregnant. The reason for this was her diagnosis - diabetes mellitus, which provoked endocrine and hormonal failures in the body. Doctors told the couple that, most likely, they will not be able to get their children. Despite such statements, in the end the miracle happened, and Kim became pregnant.

This period was very difficult, so the woman spent almost the entire time on the preservation. Andrew was always with her, supported morally in the hospital, went with his wife to courses for pregnant women and even attended the birth of their beautiful daughter, who was named Sophia.

Lilia Kim: "Anya Karenina" and other ambiguous works

Mostly, Kim likes to write in series, the first of which was the "Millennium Bible". It consists of three books:

• "The Fall";
• "They were like children";
• "One soul for two."

In this work, Kim tried to interpret the Old Testament stories in her own way. It places the characteristic biblical characters in modern conditions.

Another series, written by Lily, is "Maximus Thunder". It also includes three books. The main character in them is Max Gromov - a young fifteen-year-old genius, the owner of a huge biocorporation. The stories of this series are a mixture of a certain philosophy, mysticism, esotericism and talk about the approaching apocalypse.

But the most discussed among all the works of Kim was the book "Anya Karenina", which was released outside the series. Lily retained the prototypes of all the characters from Tolstoy's original work. But, again, I took advantage of my favorite device and transferred all the characters to the modern conditions. Kitty, for example, hunts rich oligarchs, Karenin is engaged in pimping. And the dream of the main character - Ani Karenina - is popularity, she wants to become famous throughout the world as a pop-symbol. This work attracts a great interest of readers, but at the same time, after reading the reviews about it, they leave very ambiguous.

What are the spouses living now?

For a long time, the spouses Kim and Kurpat were considered an ideal, loving and exemplary couple. In addition, as is known, Dr. Kurpatov starred in programs on Russian television, in which he repeatedly gave viewers advice on how to maintain the ideal relationship in marriage.

Relatively recently in various forums began to appear gossip about the fact that the couple divorced. It was written that on her page in one of the social networks Lily first set the status of "Not married", then removed all the joint photos with her husband, and left only her pictures with Sonia. Soon Kim removed her page altogether. Despite such rumors and discussions, none of this pair has so far made an official statement about the divorce.
