Lentil: lunch recipe

Why is it necessary to love lentils? Because it is one of the few products to which the digestive system of people is adapted at the genetic level. A typical salad with lentils or soup from it contain all the substances our body needs. The lentil made up of a third of the protein is in no way inferior to meat in composition, but it is much easier and fuller to digest.

Lentils are rich in useful substances, but one of its qualities makes dishes from it unique. These beans are not able to accumulate any toxic substances. Grown even on the field with increased radiation or fertilized with an incalculable amount of pesticides, the plant remains environmentally friendly, and, therefore, a safe and useful product.

That is why recipes with lentils gain popularity in our country among knowledgeable people. In stores today, you can find many varieties of this useful plant.

Which dishes are suitable for lentils? The recipe for cooking any dish from it can be found on the Internet and printed publications. These recipes are diverse and numerous. Let's try to cook a whole lunch from this useful product.

On the first - soup-puree, which is based on lentils. Soup recipes are different, but I like it the most.

Washed beans should be boiled in a saucepan, constantly pouring cold water. Separately fry the onions with garlic. Ready lentils to take out of the broth, blend, add spices, fried onion together with butter. Then pour a small amount of cream and put again on the fire. Once the soup boils, sprinkle with spicy greens and remove from heat. I like to season this soup with mint, thyme, sage.

At the heart of our second dish will also be lentils. Recipes of such dishes are varied: with meat or vegetables. Let's choose the latter, because the composition of the meat with lentils is similar, and eating meat with meat does not make sense.

Therefore, we prepare rice pilaf with lentils. First, boil the beans. When they are cooked halfway, spread to them rice, grated, pre-fried carrots with onions, spices. Densely covered. Gradually reducing the heat, cook until the water evaporates. We wrap it, let it stand for half an hour. Such pilaf can be served as a separate dish or used as a garnish.

For salad, red canned lentils are useful. Recipes of the first and second dishes did not imply consumption of meat, that is, they were practically dietary. Let's continue this tradition.

Fry the mushrooms with onion in a frying pan, drain excess oil. Green onions, mint, thyme, coriander, other herbs finely chopped, mixed with mushrooms. Lastly, put canned lentils in a salad. Add spices, lemon juice or a drop of vinegar, spices.

For dessert we will try to make lazy pies from carrots, onions and lentils. Separately we boil carrots, lentils. From the canned corn drain the liquid. Put the carrots, onion, corn, lentils (they should be evenly) in the blender and turn everything into puree. Add flour, spices, pepper, salt to taste. From the ready-made dough it's good to make lazy patties, and you can cut figurines with the help of molds. Bake in the oven on oiled paper for about half an hour.

Instead of compote, we drink our lentil dinner with an energy drink made from the same lentils.

To do this, beans (from the calculation of a spoon on a glass of liquid) fry in a dry frying pan until dark brown. We pass it through a coffee grinder, brew it like ordinary coffee. In a lightly cooled drink, add a spoonful of honey, mint broth, a little grated ginger. Cover, let cool, filter. This drink is very good to drink very cold: its spicy taste refreshes, and honey and lentils give energy to the body.

Of course, a whole lunch of lentils is too monotonous. But the dishes can be entered in the menu at different times.

The constant use of dishes from lentils normalizes the work of the body, allows you to lose weight, removes toxins and gives the body an incredible influx of energy. Try it and you will forget about your ailments.
