Fasting is not an easy time for all believers, since you have to limit yourself to eating. But still, you can include fantasy here and it's equally interesting to diversify your diet. And do not think that lean dishes turn out to be tasteless - they are as tasty and pleasant as dishes cooked according to the most common recipes. Let's prepare a lean pie with cabbage and see for ourselves. You can make a pie with cabbage open or puff cake with cabbage. Now we are going to prepare a pie with stuffing. For this you need:

  1. Flour.
  2. One tablespoon of dry yeast.
  3. A small head of cabbage (enough and half).
  4. Five heads of onions.
  5. One and a half glasses of water.
  6. Three tablespoons of tomato sauce or pasta.
  7. Fifty grams of vegetable oil.
  8. Salt.
  9. Sugar.
  10. Nutmeg.
  11. Oregano.

Now proceed directly to the preparation. In order to make a lean pie with cabbage, you need to mix the dough. At the very beginning, dry yeast should be poured with warm water and leave for ten minutes. After ten minutes have passed, pour the wet yeast into the flour. Salt, knead the dough and add a little vegetable oil. It is necessary, that it turned out not liquid but soft dough. If necessary, you can add more flour. Carefully mix, put the dough in a deep bowl, cover with a towel and put it for an hour or an hour and a half in a warm place. While the dough will be infused, you can make a pie filling.

Brush onion, cut into half rings and send it to grill over low heat. When the onion becomes golden, add a little sugar to the frying pan. You should get a lean pie with cabbage, so do not forget about cabbage. Finely chop it and add to onions. After the cabbage with the onion is slightly fried, put salt, pepper, oregano and nutmeg. After ten minutes, add the tomato paste. Cover the frying pan with a lid, leave everything to languish on a small fire until completely ready. Remove the cabbage from the fire and put it to cool.

We return to the test. Cut it into two parts. The first - roll and put in a pan. It is important that the edges protrude beyond the baking tray. Put the filling and bend the edges, covering it (the filling should not leak out). Now roll the second part of the dough and cover your pie top. Bake in the oven for fifty minutes. Maintain a temperature of 180 degrees.

You can cook a pie with cabbage open and, by the way, it is prepared much easier than the pie with stuffing. Let's try to make a lean pie with cabbage and mushrooms, which is somewhat like a pizza. To prepare it you will need:

  1. Dough (such as in the first version).
  2. Vegetable oil.
  3. Ketchup.
  4. Several heads of onions.
  5. One fresh carrot.
  6. Dry basil and oregano.
  7. Garlic.
  8. Black pepper.
  9. White pepper.
  10. White mushrooms.
  11. Salt.
  12. Half a kilo of cabbage.
  13. Canned corn or peas.
  14. Feathers of green onions.
  15. Fresh parsley.
  16. Fresh dill.

Let's start cooking. To do this, you need to roll out a thin layer of dough and then lay it on a baking tray. Now spread the dough with ketchup and spread a thin layer of onion rings. Rub the carrots, fry and put it on top. Sprinkle with dry basil and oregano, top with two kinds of pepper. Pour out a clove of garlic.

Cut the mushrooms, fry them and put them next layer. Add salt and add corn or peas. Thinly chop cabbage - this is the next layer. And the last thing you need to do is sprinkle all the freshly baked greens and put in an oven to bake at 220 degrees.

You can use a puff pastry - you will get a puff cake with cabbage, which will be even more tender and pleasant to taste.
