Lake Onega - a great holiday in Russia

Lake Onega is the second largest freshwater reservoir in the European continent. Its area is about 10 thousand km2, and the maximum depth is 120 m. More than 50 rivers flow into this lake, but only one comes out - Svir.

The fishing season opens from May 15 and lasts until mid-December, however, by this time a hindrance is a shortened daylight.
