"Lady fingers"

How many I remember myself - I've always loved sweets, probably it's from my father, he always carries candy in his pocket. Therefore, often want to treat yourself and loved ones with sweet pastries. One of my favorite delicacies was the cake "Lady's fingers". I learned to cook it while still a schoolgirl. At first glance, the recipe seems complicated, but in reality there is nothing impossible, it's just that you have to tinker with a little test.

So, in order to bake my favorite cake you need these products:

  • For the test - 300 ml of water, a packet of butter, 300 grams of wheat flour and 6 eggs;
  • For cream - two packets of sour cream and 200 grams of sugar. For decoration, you will need a chocolate bar.

Cooking method

We put water on the fire, add butter (at the worst, margarine will fit), we wait, when everything starts to boil. As soon as the bubbles go, pour out the flour and quickly stir to prevent lumps. We got the custard batter. Let it cool to room temperature and in turn drive in eggs.

Now it is necessary to bake "lady fingers". To do this, take a confectionery syringe or bag (if there is no syringe, you can use the package from milk - cut the corner to get a hole through which the dough will crawl out), fill it with a brew dough and squeeze out oblong strips of "fingers" on a greased baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven until ruddy.

When all the "lady's fingers" are ready, you can proceed to the cream. Sour cream and sugar are combined (by the way, you can use powdered sugar and a pinch of vanillin, then you get a sour cream with vanilla flavor).

Then each finger is dipped in a cream and added to a large dish in the form of a woodpile. Sprinkle with grated chocolate on top, you can use cocoa. These are the "Lady's fingers", the cake is ready.

Many times I have tried to try buying cakes, but there is nothing tastier than domestic ones, everything is natural and cooked with love.

By the way, "Lady's fingers" - it can be not only a cake, but also a cookie. And it is prepared in a completely different way.

To prepare, you need 100 grams of flour, 4 chicken eggs, 100 grams of granulated sugar, 50 grams of butter (can be replaced with vegetable or margarine, if not creamy).

Cooking method

Separate yolks from proteins and whisk together with sugar (should be a magnificent foam). We introduce flour in small portions. Proteins, before whipping to a strong foam, you need to cool. Then, in the yolk mass carefully introduce proteins, you can not stir intensively, the movements should be smooth. We lay out baking paper on the baking sheet, smear it with oil. The dough is placed in a confectioner's bag and squeezed onto paper in the form of strips. The distance between the strips should be at least 3 cm, as the biscuit swells. You can sprinkle the top of the cookie with sugar. Bake in the oven until rusty. Fingers are cooked for about 15 minutes. So, "Lady's fingers" - cookies and cake at the same time. True, they have different recipes.

Such cookies are well combined with coffee and tea. And the kids are eating it with milk. Cookies "Lady fingers" can be served in any form: if you soak it with sour cream, you can collect a tortoise cake, if you glue it with condensed milk or butter cream, you will get a cake. For children's holidays from such cookies it is possible to assemble a house or something else, it will turn out very original.

My friend covers such a cookie with chocolate glaze, and sprinkles on top with colored coconut shavings - the children are just delighted with such sweetness. In addition, you can be sure that the child does not stuff himself with sweet chemistry - you cook the biscuits yourself. So bake and make your family happy! Have a nice tea!
