Kudryashov Dmitry - the hope of Russian boxing

The Russian land has always been famous for its heroes. The strength and courage of the Russian peasants are legendary, and quite justified, because today there are those guys who are strong both physically and mentally. One of such truly Slavic bogatyrs can be considered an ascending "star" of Russian boxing named Kudryashov Dmitry.

Volgodonsk talent

Respected today by many boxing experts and spectators, the fighter was born on October 26, 1985 in the city of Volgodonsk, Rostov region. Dmitry Kudryashov studied at secondary school number 22, where he joined the sport. However, at the beginning of his sports career the guy was engaged in karate, and at the age of 13 he came to boxing. His first coach was Nikolay Timofeev, who worked in the sports club "Olympus-2."

Achievements in amateur sports

For four years Kudryashov Dmitry boxed directly in Rostov, speaking for the club "Labor Reserves". During this time, he was able to repeatedly win city and regional competitions. In parallel with boxing, Dima actively conducts training and hand-to-hand combat. In 2008, a young man is drafted into the army, and he is on an urgent service in the city above the name of Kalach-na-Donu. In this case, he does not give up playing sports in general or combating in particular.

2010 was marked for the athlete by awarding the title of Master of Sports in hand-to-hand combat.

In 2011, taking part in the class A competitions "Spartacus Cup", which was held in Krasnodar, the fighter wins the first place and is awarded the title of Master of Sports in boxing.

To great regret, looking back, it can be argued that very often due to bias judges Dmitry Kudryashov could not win various amateur tournaments. That's why the amateur career of the guy does not dazzle with a lot of titles. In total, the amateur ring fought 150 fights (lost only 12 fights), after which he decided to move to the professionals.

Road to professionals

July 30, 2011. The village of Kuschevskaya. The rival is a fighter from Ukraine named Alexander Okhray. Kudryashov's victory in the third round by knockout. This is how you can characterize the first professional fight of Volgodonsk talent at a high level. After the debut Dmitry Kudryashov, whose biography is not quite typical for a regular boxer, had 4 more fights thanks to which in October 2012 he was able to enter the ring in order to win the WBC title of the champion of the CIS and Slavic countries. And I must say that he succeeded. Kudryashov defeated his opponent from Uzbekistan and took his belt to himself.

Russian champion nicknamed "Sledgehammer"

In 2013, Dmitry defends his title, and already in a fight with Prince George Akron, a knockout of a representative of Ghana was recorded, which allowed him to become a Russian world champion under the UBO version. Yes, many will say that this belt is far from the most prestigious, but still it is champion. In October 2013 Kudryashov yielded another peak. This time, Dima became the best fighter in the world according to GBU. And the rival in that fight was much more serious - Barbadian Sean Cox, who, by the way, was once the official contender for the WBA title. However, this did not become an obstacle for Dmitry. In the second round, a native of the island of Barbados was knocked out.

In 2014 Dmitry Kudryashov, whose photo does not come off the covers of many sports magazines, also conducts quite successfully battles. During this period, he defeats Luboscha Sudu from the Czech Republic, Ivica Bachurina from Croatia, Juliana Ilie from Romania, as well as the true legend of world boxing Juan Carlos Gomez. And in order to knock out the Cuban, Kudryashov took only 19 (!!!) seconds.

May 22, 2015 native Volgodonsk enters the ring against the Namibian Meroro and will knock him out, thereby defending his title.

First defeat

The next rival of Kudryashov was the Nigerian Olanrevaju Durodole. To the great disappointment of the entire Russian fan sector, this African fighter was the stumbling block that Dmitry Kudryashov, a boxer with brilliant prospects, unexpectedly "stumbled".

The fight between the two fighters was held on November 4, 2015. The championship battle was very spectacular and saturated with various technical actions. The very confrontation turned out to be rather fleeting and in many respects sensational, as Dmitry lost in the second round by technical knockout. Although even in the first three-minute Kudryashov excellently hit the left side Nigerian in the head, forcing it to significantly slow down. But even despite such a local success of the Russian soldier, Olanrevaju continued to move forward and conduct his attacks. As a result, in the third minute of the second round as a result of the attack, the challenger for the title achieved the desired result - the referee stopped the fight, fixing the early and unexpected victory of many Durodole analysts and fans, thanks to which he took away the WBC Silver champion belt in the heavyweight category .
