"Isuzu": a lineup and description

The Isuzu Company is the oldest Japanese automotive brand, founded in 1916. This article will consider all the features of the "Isuzu", the model range of which today consists only of trucks.

History of the brand

In 1916, under the leadership of Yoshisuki Aikawa, the Isuzu company was founded. The name was chosen in honor of one of the Japanese rivers. Until recently, the company produced a wide range of SUVs, trucks and buses. To date, the company specializes only in the production of N-series trucks. The company is also known worldwide as a manufacturer of diesel engines, which it delivers to such well-known automotive brands as, for example, General Motors.

All over the world, Isuzu cars are assembled, the model range of which includes more than 5 modifications of the N. Truck. The company's factories are located in the USA, Russia, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and plans to open branches in a number of other countries.

For the first time, trucks "Isuzu" appeared on Russian conveyors in 2006. At that time, the first generation of N-series cars were assembled at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. The production of this machine in Ulyanovsk continues to this day with minor interruptions.

Isuzu: a range of trucks

Without modifications and specialization, trucks are sold in the Chassis variant. In total there are 8 modifications of trucks. All of them differ in load-carrying capacity and engine power. The minimum load capacity in the NMR85E version is only 1.5 tonnes. Engine power of this version is 124 horsepower. By the way, all engines are of own manufacture "Isuzu". The model range continues the modification with a 3-ton load capacity and the same engine.

Further, there are versions that differ little in cargo capacity: 4.5, 4.6 and 4.8 tons. Engine power is 124, 150 and 155 horsepower respectively. The engine is offered in petrol and diesel versions. All cars are equipped with a rear-wheel drive only. 1 million 650 thousand rubles - this is the minimum price for a car "Isuzu". The model range includes more than 8 modifications, the most expensive of which costs about 2 million 200 thousand rubles.

Truck application

In general, these trucks are purchased for commercial purposes. After the purchase, equipment is installed on them, depending on the activities of the firm or the entrepreneur. The most common application is a tow truck.
