Is it possible to establish contact with aliens? Did the aliens come to Earth?

Back in the 1960s, the first attempt was made to reach out to aliens using high technologies. Then an astronomer named Frank Drake, in the hope of catching a signal from the aliens, sent his radio telescope to two sun-like stars. They are located at a distance of 11 light years from our planet. This experiment did not bear fruit. However, in the next half century, although we did not establish contact with aliens, we learned a little more about them.

Is there life in space

First, recent studies show that life on our planet can survive in extremely extreme conditions. Microbes, chewing methane, live on the ocean floor, in the rocks. They are able to survive in an oxygen-poor environment, even at great depths. They can be found even in Antarctica, under a half-kilometer layer of ice, where millions of years did not penetrate the sunlight. If these microbes are able to survive in extreme conditions, it would be logical to assume that they could endure similar deprivations on other planets.

Secondly, the researchers found that liquid water, which is the hallmark of the existence of life on the planet, is not only on Earth. For example, Europe and Ganymede (the satellites of Jupiter) hide under their ice-covered surface large oceans, which somehow resemble the terrestrial. A good prospect for life is shown by many moons of Saturn. Titan, the most famous and largest satellite of Saturn, has a mysterious methane sea.

Third, the scientists discovered more than 1,800 exoplanets outside the solar system. In the Milky Way, there may be about a trillion planets. Every fifth of them can resemble the Earth. If even 1% of all the planets in the Milky Way are similar to Earth, the figures will be quite impressive. Therefore, researchers have long been looking for a life in space.

Did the aliens come to Earth

There is a lot of evidence that extraterrestrial civilizations have already visited our planet in ancient times. Some facts simply can not be explained by something else.

Take, for example, "strange artifacts" discovered by archaeologists. The origin of these objects is clearly man-made, but their age is estimated in hundreds of millions of years. During the construction of the bridge that connects Vladivostok with the Russky Island, metal fragments were found in the depth of the earth, the age of which is 240 million years. Analyzes conducted in the laboratory showed that they are details of high-precision mechanisms. But who could make them at that time?

The cemetery of the Lilliputians, found in 1937 on the border of Tibet and China, still does not give rest to scientists. On one of the tombstones it is written that drops landed 13 thousand years ago, but their ship crashed, so they had to stay on our planet. Perhaps, it was then that the first contact with aliens took place. Anyway, in these places since then live Lilliputians, whose growth does not exceed 120 cm. They call themselves descendants of droppings.

Another indication that aliens visited Earth is the Bible. In the Book of the Prophet Ezekiel, as well as in the Old Testament, the technical devices by which the angels and even God used to descend to Earth are described. Of course, this casts doubt on the divine origin of these creatures, but confirms the view that aliens have already landed on our planet in ancient times. It may well be that many people, if not all of us, have an extraterrestrial origin.

So, you can not exclude contacts with aliens. The evidence suggests that a meeting with them may well happen. People are preparing to receive a signal from space. For this, even a special program was developed, which we will now talk about.

SETI Program

SETI is a common name for events and projects aimed at contacting extraterrestrials and searching for extraterrestrial civilizations. Researchers who work within the program, dream of one thing: to catch a steady signal from representatives of extraterrestrial intelligence trying to communicate with people. In 1989 they adopted a special protocol of contact with aliens, which was supplemented in 2010.

What can you do if a UFO came to contact you? Contacts with aliens, of course, can not be kept a secret. However, it is necessary to adhere to the following rules developed by SETI:

  • The one who detects the signal must first make sure that it is extraterrestrial intelligence, and not human or natural noise, that is its most probable source;
  • Before promulgating the result, the one who received the signal is obliged to secretly warn SETI representatives so that they have the opportunity to confirm its existence and unite efforts to study it;
  • The discoverer must notify the UN General Secretariat and the International Astronomical Society;
  • The signal should be answered only after consultation with international agencies.

Many space lovers tried to establish contact with aliens. Alas, until now all the messages remain unanswered. Judging by the strangeness of many of these messages, this is even good, since it is not known what the aliens will think about humanity if they catch these signals. We suggest you get acquainted with the most famous and unusual attempts to establish contact with aliens.

Crop Circles

At the present time, the appearance of fanciful geometric patterns in the fields is often attributed to aliens, but initially it was believed that in this way not aliens, and people try to come into contact with unknown races. Thus, Karl Friedrich Gauss, a well-known German mathematician who was passionately addicted to geodesy, in 1820 decided: messages should be noticeable from a bird's eye view, so that aliens can read them. Therefore, the mathematician suggested the following: it is necessary to cut down most of the Siberian taiga. It should be shaped like a huge triangle, then sow it with rye.

This is not the only way to get in touch with aliens, suggested by Gauss. It is known that he also invented a special device that transmits light signals for long distances. It is called a helioscope. Its main function is geodetic measurements, but with the help of reflected solar rays the "father of mathematics" tried to establish contacts between aliens and earthlings.

Twenty years later, Josef von Littrow, an Austrian astronomer who believed that the Moon was habitable, proposed to dig a round 30-kilometer trench in the Sahara Desert. It was planned to be filled with kerosene, and at night set on fire, so that the inhabitants of the Moon would notice us. It should be noted that both these scientists - both Littrow and Gauss - believed that geometric figures are the ideal way to convey a message to aliens, because the entire universe obeys mathematical laws.

Concentrated light

How can aliens communicate with people? Contact, according to Charles Crowe, can be achieved with the help of light. This French poet and inventor, once seeing faint lights on the surface of Venus and Mars (they were probably some sort of meteorological phenomenon), decided that this was the light of alien cities. In 1867, Charles Croe wrote "An overview of possible connections with the planets," and two years later he proposed using a special parabolic mirror to "collect" electric light and further direct it towards Venus and Mars. At the same time, as this researcher believed, the rays must necessarily flash, so that a kind of Morse code is obtained .

Kro believed: the aliens will understand that this is the message, not the star's radiance. However, the researcher doubted that such a difficult task can be solved by small mirrors. Therefore, he asked the French government to install a giant parabolic reflector somewhere in the desert. The request of the inventor, unfortunately, was rejected, so Kro's poetic dream of contact with extraterrestrial intelligence never came true.

Pioneer records

NASA in the early 70-ies of the last century launched into space unmanned spacecraft, known as the "Pioneer-10" and "Pioneer-11." Before them was the task of studying Jupiter and Saturn respectively. However, these ships differed not only in complex technical stuffing. On their sides there were unusual plates made of anodized aluminum. What were they for?

Frank Drake and Carl Sagan, famous astronomers, believed that they would help the aliens understand where and why the "Pioneers" arrived. On the plates attached to the ship, the solar system was schematically depicted, the distance from the Sun to our planet is indicated. In addition, they depicted hydrogen atoms, a man and a woman.

Unfortunately, in 2003, NASA lost its connection with the ship "Pioneer-10", and in 2 years and with the "Pioneer-11". Therefore, we did not know if the aliens could understand these drawings. Skeptics are still arguing about whether this action was an important scientific research or simply wasting money. Maybe the aliens are not in a hurry to establish contact with us.

Space messages sent by people have many shortcomings. They can be compared with time capsules. Recall, for example, the "crypt of civilization", located in the US state of Georgia (in Olgthorp University). This capsule is a room that was sealed in 1940. Inside it there are many objects, including the script of the film "Gone with the Wind" and the packaging of beer.

Crypta, of course, was conceived as a cast of culture of the 20th century, addressed to the descendants of earthlings. But it, like the intergalactic message, gives a very vague idea of the features of the era. It is planned to be opened in 6100 years. Will the earthlings of those distant times understand the film "Gone with the Wind"?

Marek Kultis explains that for modern inhabitants of the Earth there is no difficulty in interpreting the schematic images of a woman and a man. However, if the "Pioneer" got to the aliens, they would probably think that a person is just a set of different parts of the body (hair, face, male pectoral muscles, represented in the figure in the form of closed individual figures). Without knowing earthlings, one can also think that they live on the surface of these figures and are long serpent-like creatures (open lines that denote knees, collarbone and stomach).

Message Arecibo

Almost at the same time as the launch of the Pioneers, astronomers actively discussed the question of whether it is possible to establish contact with an alien civilization using radio signals. It is known that they are not as much exposed to cosmic dust as light. In addition, radio signals have a longer wavelength. The same Sagan and Drake came up with a message consisting of 1679 figures. In it they encrypted the DNA formula, as well as the atomic numbers of hydrogen, oxygen and other elements. In addition, the message contained numbers from 1 to 10 in the binary system.

Scientists November 16, 1974 transmitted from the Arecibo Observatory, located in Puerto Rico, a radio signal lasting 169 seconds. They sent it in the direction of the cluster of stars M13, located at a distance of about 25 thousand light years from our planet. It turns out that even if representatives of extraterrestrial intelligence will receive it, the first contact with aliens will take place at least in 40 thousand years.

Gold plate

The American space agency in 1977 launched two more devices, the task of which was to study the distant planets of our solar system. These are the Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 vehicles. Each of them was equipped with a gold plate, on which musical compositions, various languages, sounds of nature, as well as images depicting earthlings were recorded. All the same Carl Sagan this time came up with engraving on the aluminum cases of these plates the scheme of setting the needle so that the aliens could reproduce the message. Also, an instruction was given to convert video signals to an image. In addition, it was indicated at what speed these plates should be played.

Today, both these devices flew to the edge of the solar system. They are the most distant from the Earth artificial objects. Both of these devices still send signals to our planet, but we still have not received a response from space.

"Space call"

Zaytsev Arkady Leonidovich, a Russian physicist studying the radar of asteroids, came up with his own way of getting in touch with extraterrestrials. He has already sent at least 5 interstellar messages, among which there are also multi-page messages. In 1999, he sent the first "space call" in the framework of the "Contact Team" project, created by the state. This "call" was addressed to four stars at once. Radio broadcast Zaytsev was multi-page and contained a Rosetta stone. So ufologists call a bitmap, which presents an encyclopedia of knowledge about the world around us, belonging to humanity.

In 2003, the second "space call" was thrown. By its content, it was almost identical to the first, but it had more information about the people themselves. Both the first and the second message were sent using the planetary radar located in Evpatoria (Ukraine). Unfortunately, to the question of whether there is any contact with aliens, Arkady Leonidovich is still forced to respond negatively. But it is possible that the messages will reach the addressees.

By the way, Zaitsev did not limit himself to the above, trying to understand how to get in touch with aliens. He came up with the following: together with the team to send another radio message into space, which was carried out by him in 2001. To accomplish this task, he attracted schoolchildren from Moscow, Voronezh, Kaluga and Zheleznogorsk. This time the content of the message was very simple. Instead of mathematics and other complex things, it was art: schoolchildren helped the scientist pick up music for extraterrestrial civilizations, and he sent a radio wave toward the Big Dipper, as well as to five other stars with solar systems. So when will contact with aliens take place? If we are not alone in the universe, "green men" in 2047 will be able to enjoy the works of Vivaldi, Beethoven and Gershwin.

Advertisement Doritos

EISCAT - Research Institute, which in 2008 distinguished himself with a very extravagant act. For six hours, this institute broadcast the advertising of Doritos chips into space. It's funny that the main purpose of this large-scale campaign was to attract attention not of aliens, but of earthlings. The fact is that the European scientific association was severely curtailed by funding, because of what it badly needed money.

Broadcast advertising was carried out in the form of MPEG-code and was conducted with the help of radar. The target audience of this advertisement were the possible inhabitants of the dwarf galaxy located in the constellation Ursa Major, which is only 42 light years from our planet. It is not known how the aliens will react to this advertisement. Contacts, eyewitness accounts and opinions of scientists do not give an unambiguous answer to this question. Representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations remain a mystery to us.

Latest Photos

Since the end of the world, expected in 2012, did not take place, the name "The Last Photos" today sounds irrelevant. This cosmic message is a capsule with images of our planet and its inhabitants. She is currently surfing the expanse of the universe. The capsule was sent into space in order to find aliens and tell them about our existence, if for some reason the life on the planet Earth ever terminates.

Artist Trevor Paglen is the author of this interesting project. He successfully used the excitement that arose around the apocalypse to show the world his photographs. It is necessary to pay tribute to Paglen - his works are adorable. The whole life of mankind is represented on them. For five years, the photographer consulted with the best scientists and philosophers of our time to make as realistic pictures as possible. Then Paglen recorded them on a special ultra-archive disk, and then sent to open space.

Telepathy

Attempts to establish contact with aliens are usually based on the use of advanced technologies. Nevertheless, there are people who claim that they do not need equipment to communicate with aliens. One of them is Dr. Stephen Greer, who gained fame due to the documentary "Sirius", dedicated to representatives of extraterrestrial intelligence. Stephen Greer knows how to get in touch with aliens. Several times a year this person recruits groups of volunteers, after which he takes them to secluded corners. He conducts meditation sessions with them, which allegedly involve beings from outer space.

Of course, it is not proven that they are real contacts with aliens. However, Greer says that they manage to establish a connection with representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations. At these sessions, volunteers go to a higher level of consciousness, as a result of which they not only understand how to get in touch with aliens, but also recall past reincarnations. Let's hope that Greer and his team once will not scare off representatives of extraterrestrial intelligence who really want to communicate with people.
