Is it necessary to run as administrator? Nothing is easier

Often, beginning users start problems because they can not run any program or file that requires administrator rights in the system. In fact, running on behalf of the administrator is not something out of the ordinary and in most cases quite simple. To run games or programs with administrator rights, there are two ways: either you give the administrator rights to your entire account, or simply run its file with the corresponding system privileges. First you need to understand the administration settings, for which you need to do some "magic passes".

So, the launch as administrator XP is as follows. Click on the treasured "Start" button and find the "Control Panel" item there. We are looking for "Managing user accounts", then click on the user's icon. If you are an administrator, then next to the user name will be the corresponding inscription.

What about Windows 7? Running as an administrator in this operating system is just as simple. Similarly, search for the same "Control Panel" and find there an item with user accounts, then click on it. In the end, you should also click on the name of your user.

If your account is not an administrator account, then you will have to work a bit to fix this annoying mistake. To do this, you must change the type of the entry to the administrator. In the same dialog box that opens when you click on your account name, find the "Changing your account type" option. Clicking on it, you will get to the next window with the settings in which you want to check the box corresponding to the type that you need.

All. From now on, the launch on behalf of the administrator in most cases will happen automatically and without your participation. But if not, then what to do then? Oh, even in this case, there is no need to expect any special difficulties.

In the good old XP it is necessary to perform the following manipulations. You should hold and hold the Shift key on the keyboard, and then right-click on the program shortcut or on the executable file, then in the drop-down context menu you will need to find the "Run as" option. Click on this item and select the administrator's entry. If this account is password-protected, then the startup on behalf of the administrator will be possible only with his knowledge. In older versions of the Windows family, it's still easier.

So, in Windows Vista, 7 & 8, follow these steps. Click the right mouse button on the file or shortcut of the program, then select the "Properties" item in the drop-down menu. There is a tab called "Compatibility", which you must search at the top of the window. In it, you need to find the "Level of Rights". Immediately below it is the empty checkbox "Run this program as administrator", which you need to fill by clicking on it with the left key of your "rodent". Then click on the "OK" button.

As you can see, the launch on behalf of the administrator is quite simple.
