How to tie a women's waistcoat in three days

As you've probably already noticed, knitted waistcoats are back in fashion in all their diversity. This gives us the opportunity to choose the style of a knitted waistcoat to your liking and bind it literally in three days. I propose to consider a classical model, on the basis of which it is possible to create your own version of the product, making minor amendments.

Knitting with needles: female waistcoat

What do we need to work?

- Circular knitting needles on line No. 3.

- Knitting needles №3.

- Half-wool yarn «Cashmere gold», 320 m in 100 g, 3 hanks.

- Decorative buttons in tone.

We will knit a women's vest without side seams, with a single cloth. In general, if the design allows, knitting without seams greatly simplifies the process of work and further care for the jersey.

For 48 - 50 sizes we type on the spokes 256 loops, of which 2 are edge bands. We knit an elastic band 2x2 with a height of 30 - 35 cm, then we begin to decorate the armhole. In the front row we remove the edge, we sew by the figure 60 p., Close 6 p., We sew 122 p. According to the drawing, close 6 p. And knit along the pattern to the end of the row.

From this moment, the shelves and the back are performed separately, the working thread is on the left side of the shelf. In each next facial row from the side of the armhole, close in turn 2, 2, 1, 1, and 1 loop, until there are 54 loops on the spokes. Further, if our vest is female with a V-neck, proceed to the design of the neck. To do this, at the end of each face row, we bind the second and third from the end of the loop together so that the second one lies on top, forming a pigtail along the cutout. We close the hinges until the moment when there are 24 loops on the spokes. We make two more rows in the pattern and take off the loops on the stocking auxiliary spoke. The left shelf is ready.

In the same way we knit the right shelf, we remove the loops on the second auxiliary spoke.

Female vest: we knit the back

We fix the working thread and knit 122 p. Of the front row, then at the beginning of each row, we close in turn 2, 2, 1, 1, and 1 the loop for the armhole, 108 spokes remain on the spokes. We knit on the figure 53 series, then in the front we sew 29 loops, close 50 p., Finish the row. In each sequential front row from the side of the neck, we close in turn 2, 2, 1 loops, there will be 24 loops on the spoke. We impose 2 rows on the pattern and take off the loops on the stocking auxiliary spoke. Similarly, we weave the right shoulder.

To join the shoulder seams, we sew the corresponding loops of the shelf and backrest together, fixing the seam.

To our women's waistcoat buttoned up, it is necessary to tie a bar with hinges on the right shelf. From the edge we type in the appropriate number of loops and knit a rubber band with a width of 4 cm. Do not forget that for the buttons you need to make loops by tying 2 loops together with the subsequent knit, preferably on the wrong loops of the pattern. The distance between the loops is usually 10 -12 cm, the marking should be made from the most convex point of the breast, evenly calculating the number of loops up and down. The belts of the waistcoat are also made out with a bar of the appropriate width.

The finished product is slightly stripped through the fabric, we sew on the buttons. We tied a women's waistcoat with knitting needles, but on the same principle you can knit vests and sleeveless jackets with a simple or Tunisian hook.
