However, that the result does not disappoint you, you need to know a few tricks, which we will talk about today. So, let's figure out how to paint the car at home.

Preparatory process

Before you start preparing the vehicle itself, you need to tune in psychologically, because this work is not as simple as it seems at first glance. Note that you will have to go to different positions, stand over the body for hours and finish the surface several times. And I have to work all day, if not more. After you have collected your thoughts, you can safely proceed to action.

Before you paint the car yourself, you should carefully prepare the body. To start is best with a sink. After it on the surface of the paintwork, you will see all the defects (if it is a used car). Now we take up the bottles. Before painting the machine at home, shake the container for 1-2 minutes. We paint in stages, with a periodicity of 10-15 minutes (as indicated in the instructions). If the outside temperature is below 15 degrees, wait for about half an hour. Ideally, the thickness of the paintwork should be 8-12 microns. Of course, in garage conditions it is impossible to measure this value, so we are guided by the advice of seasoned motorists - we paint the body in 3 layers.
