How to organize an interesting Tournament correctly: the scenario of the event

At the moment among the youth active recreation in the mountains is quite popular. In winter they rest on the ski resorts, and in summer they just go out into the countryside or go camping. In addition to ordinary organized companies that actively rest, there are also so-called circles or sections specializing in mountain tourism. Practically in every city or region of our vast homeland, there is at least one, and even several such organizations. In the course of the year (most often 1-2 times in the spring, summer and autumn), among several teams from one or several closely located cities, competitions are held, including orienteering, recognition of topographic signs, knotting, lifting-traverse-descent, crossing River in several ways. This event is a turtle, the script of which is very rich. The program of competitions at such events does not change, the stages remain the same, but it is necessary to think carefully about the plan for a 5-day, or even a 10-day camp so that participants do not get bored during the free time. It is necessary to compile a script for the tour, prepare a competitive program, themed evenings and much more. But the main thing is to find a suitable place for the camp.

Location of the tour

Most often, such competitions are held in the mountains, so when selecting a location, you should take into account the features of the upcoming event and try to be guided by the following recommendations:

• The area of the future camp should be large enough to accommodate all participants;
• Within a radius of a kilometer or two, there should be a river, as well as a small rocky lunge. This is necessary for a more interesting and lively competition in natural natural conditions, rather than artificial ones;
• The camp should not be more than an hour away from the nearest settlement, as during the competition participants can get serious injuries, which it will be difficult to cope with in the field.

Choosing the right terrain is half way to an excellent tour. The scenario for its implementation is already the next task.

Plan for holding a 5-day tour

In general, such events do not last longer than a week, the most optimal period for their holding is 5 days. During this time competitions are held in several stages, thematic evenings and competitions, as well as a training program. It is due to the fact that the period of the camp is small, its program is very rich and interesting, and this suggests an organized tour. Scenario events for 5 days can be as follows:

1. Arrival of teams in the morning. During the day, the organization of the camp, the breaking of tents and familiarity with the terrain. In the evening, you can arrange a small contest around the campfire at the presentation of the teams. In the presentation, the teams will have to say their name, motto, represent the captain and decide on the choice of persons responsible for this or that matter. And, of course, at the end of the show, from each team there should be a song that symbolizes the name.
2. On the second day you can allow participants to prepare for competitions, train on the terrain, and master it a little. On the planer, tell the captains an approximate task for classes A and B (difficulty categories) so that they can prepare their teams for the competition.
3. On the third day, arrange a competition in the CCI (tourist obstacle course). In the morning draw a draw to determine the order of speakers for different classes of teams. After this, you need to give the participants of the first team 1 hour to prepare, then to release on the obstacle course every 20-40 minutes of competing. Depending on the order of the performing teams and the complexity category, time can be changed.
4. On the 4th day of the camp, you can arrange a final match for the KTM teams (control tourist route). Also do not forget about the draw and the order of the performing teams.
5. The final day of the camp is usually dedicated to the solemn awarding of teams with valuable prizes in accordance with occupied places.

Of course, everyone has their own preferences and ideas about how to conduct a tour, so the script can be slightly changed. However, adhering to the above plan will be rational.

Inherent trifles

To attract participants to tourlit organizers need to send out so-called invitations or business cards for participation to each team. This part of the event must be included in the script.
