Materials

The main difficulty in choosing is the selection of suitable wood. It should be flexible, so that the bow does not crack when tightened, but at the same time stiff enough to provide the force of the shot. In addition, you will need a string for the bowstring, thin enough, but not stretchable.

Workpiece

Arrows

They will be made of the same material as the onion itself. Their thickness is six to ten millimeters. The main thing is to make the arrow smooth and straight. Its length should be five to seven centimeters more than the hand. On one side a tip is attached to it. It is best to make it out of plastic or metal, but you can also use foam rubber, wrapped in electrical tape (this should be determined before you make a bow and arrow). On the other end, you need to cut the bowstring one and a half times thicker. To stabilize the flight, it is desirable to make feathers from thin sheets of strong plastic, paper or cut along bird feathers. Any material must be given a similar shape to the last. After that, it is attached to the arrow with threads. It is necessary to take three "feathers" and evenly place them in three centimeters from the rear end of the boom.

If everything turned out right, then the bow must run the arrow along a wide arc for sufficiently long distances. If you want exotics, you can make it foldable or in a special way curved.
