Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuelle Frimpong

Emmanuel Frimpong is a Ghanaian footballer currently playing for the Tula Arsenal. This year he turned 24, so his career is just beginning. Emmanuel Frimpong performs in the position of the defensive midfielder, but can occupy any position in the center of the field, from the central to the attacking midfielder.

Carier start

Emmanuel Frimpong was born on January 10, 1992 in Ghana, however, while still a young child, moved with his family to England, directly to the capital of the country - London. There a young talent and noticed the local "Arsenal", at that time was one of the strongest clubs in the country. In 2001, nine-year-old Emmanuel joined the club's system, and five years later even quit his studies to concentrate on the career of a football player. In 2010, when he was eighteen years old, he was offered a professional contract, which he gladly signed. However, the place was not found at the base of the player, so almost immediately Emmanuel Frimpong started to go on rent. In the season 11/12 he spent 14 games for Arsenal, but all the time he left for a short while to replace, so it was decided to send him to Wolverhampton so that he could gain experience. But there the young Ghanaian played only five matches. When he returned to Arsenal, he went on the field two more times, after which he again went on lease, this time to Charlton, and then to Fulham. In each of the clubs, Emmanuel spent six months playing six games. By the summer of 2013, it became clear that Frimpong had no future in Arsenal, so even after half a year the Ghanaian was sold for 250,000 euros at Barnsley.

Going to Barnsley

Emmanuel Frimpong is a midfielder, who had high hopes a few years ago, which, unfortunately, he did not justify. Caught in Barnsley, he spent only six games in six months, during which he was not persuaded by the leadership, who refused to renew the short-term contract. As a result of the first of September, Frimpong moved to the Russian club "Ufa" as a free agent.

Moving to Russia

In Ufa, the player did not get everything right - of course, he played 28 matches in two years, but he spent some of them on a tourist visa, which is a violation of the charter of the football federation. Moreover, he was disqualified for an indecent gesture to the fan, and as a result, in April 2016 the contract with him was terminated. In August, a two-year contract with Ghana was signed by the Tula Arsenal, for which the player has so far played four games.

National team appearances

In his youth, Frimpong was considered a great talent, so he received several calls to the England youth teams. But in the adult call, he never waited, so in March 2013 he debuted for the national team of Ghana - the same match at the moment remains his last.
